Ziploc has always been trustworthy and their quality still excels with their line of storage bags. The bags are high density and thick enough to hold any solids or liquids securely. The seal of these bags are easy to close and hold securely under pressure and you will definitely know when they are closed. The bags are top notch and you can't go wrong with purchasing Ziploc.

These gallon sized ziploc bags are incredibly useful. I use them in many applications other than just the kitchen. They perform very well as their intended purpose; they're strong and don't leak. I use these to put all kinds of things in: leftovers, supplies, organizing anything (example: supplies for making birthday cakes and cupcakes, sprinkles, etc, that aren't used frequently, but also include many smaller parts, these are great for keeping it all together and pulling it all back out when you do need it. I also use them with my kids homeschool as well as our farm. Just those two applications are endless!!! I prefer this type over the sliders because the sliders do have a tendency to pop off and really defeating the goal. Overall, in my opinion, gallon sized ziplocs should be a staple everywhere! I use storage bags for meal prep and things of that nature and have encounter very undesirable moments filling the bags when the would tip over and spill out. These bags are absolutely amazing and do exactly as they have advertised. Still upholding all other key qualities of a good ziploc bag. It's an absolute game changer.

The bags made for a great alternative to using a rigid glass or plastic containers for pouring leftovers into. I use Ziploc bags almost every day. I use Ziploc bags to carry lunch items in. I use them for leftovers. We use them to carry personal items when we take trips. When we are out of town for sporting tournaments I use them to carry sandwich's, fruits, cookies, and many other items. Ziploc gallon bags are sturdy and I don't have to worry about them opening unexpectedly. They stay sealed until I open them. We love Ziploc gallon bags. They have unlimited use!

My extended family and I love the ziplocbags, especially the newer half gallon ones, which was the best idea because sometimes you just need that in between size. Lately though, we have had an issue with opening the bags. Let me say that I love the quality of the bag and the fact that they seal so well but when I go to open a bag, they are ripping between the blue lines and the main sealed part of the bag. This is happening more and more and I then have to throw them out. I like to reuse them.

I love this product simply because I do a lot of meal prep and sometimes this requires that you marinate things and it is hard to put liquid in the bag with the bag falling over or closing and this bag is specifically made to stay open such a game changer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ziploc brand storage bags are always my go-to when I need to freeze anything. The plastic is thick, doesn't tear or rip and keeps the item in good condition whenever its needed. This product with the stay open design falls short in my opinion. It's a good concept, however in practice, the bags aren't any different than the regular Ziploc freezer bags. There is a band of thicker plastic at the top but they don't expand significantly, nor "stay open" when filled. I had several pork chops I wanted to drop in and the bags had to be held when filled and without being propped in some way, they would fall over. I would still recommend Ziploc bags to anyone, however unless there is more design tweaking, I don't know that I would buy these particular ones.

As someone who likes to meal prep, wrestling with baggies is part of it - until now! I love that these Ziplocks stand up, it makes it so much easier! I fold over the top so it stays wide open. Of course, once it gets so full, or if you're working with liquids, you'll need to brace it to keep from flopping over. But these are my gold standard for freezer bags!
