I was there when the original Ziploc bags came out. They worked perfectly. This junk that they are promoting now is awful. You have to keep trying to zip it closed and often the next time you use the contents, it is stale because the bag did not completely seal. Ziploc, go back to your origin and get rid of the over engineered bags and their designers.

There's two specific things I really like about them. 1. The top edge of the bag is textured, so when you grasp it to pull open the zipper, your fingers don't slip. This can be helpful if your hands are wet from cooking or crafting or whatever. 2. The bottom of the bag is designed to sit squarely on the counter so it stands up and stays open while you fill it! This is ingenious and will prevent those super annoying spills.

The stay open design isn't the best. it doesn't stay open like the photo shows. I would still purchase and use it like a regular storage bag.

They open without much effort, and they can even stand on their own as I fill them. They are great to use with liquids. The seal is tight and seals completely. There is no leakage. The bags are durable. I will be buying these again.

The seal stays shut, which is important. The stay open design makes it so convenient to fill them. They are strong enough to use a couple of times, and are mindfully made. A great product for around the house and office.

They don't leak any liquids when they are sealed. The stay open feature is helpful for filling if you have something heavy enough to keep the bottom stable. I'll probably be using these for as long as I live.

I loved that it was easy to open and easy to stay closed. There were no leaks at all and the diamond seal pattern on the bottom really helped with gripping it. This product is free of BPA which is wonderful as I'm conscious of what products I use. I would definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of the new ziploc stay open design bags. I was skeptical at first but after doing a side by side comparison of the regular one and the new design, I was impressed that it did stay open while filling it. The new design is slightly wider at the bottom and design to allow for it to sit more flat compared to a regular ziploc bag.

They are my go to bag, they work way better than the store brand bags. Ziploc bags don't leak and have a good thick plastic so they don't tear either. I have been using Ziploc bags for a long time.
