I unfortunately was one of those customers that believed name brand was better no matter the expense. To know that I've been storing a deep freeze full of meat in bags that leak is disturbing. Will never buy hour products again.

Bags like this are ridiculously expensive in the supermarket but when I buy in bulk like this I never have to think about using them for all kinds of purposes around the house.

You can't go wrong with ziploc freezer bags. We buy meat in bulk and use ziploc freezer bags to separate and freeze. I won't use any other brand. Sams carries them for the best price too.

The first 2 bags I opened ripped apart. I have to be very careful when I open them other wise they rip apart. Those bags used to be solid but unfortunately not anymore. Sorry

Ziploc has always been so dependable but quality has gone downhill. Same low quality as the lower cost brands now. No reason to spend the extra money on them. Plastic consistently rips from the zip and doesn't lock as easily as it used to.

We store everything in them-bread, chips, cooked foods, we marinate foods in them before cooking, we put food scraps and overipened fruit in them and seal it before putting it in the trash.

This bag is the perfect size for most everything! Small enough for 2 servings/ large enough for 4 servings! No extra bag to fold over and make sure all the air is out.

I thought it was something I was doing that the bags kept ripping, now that I have read others with the same problem, I hope you have corrected it, otherwise I will no longer purchase ziploc.

Really use these for everything.I do double bath or just freeze smaller amounts of food in the Ziplock freezer bad.Love the fact they stand up and are easier to work with.Like the label area, functionally helpful
