The stay open design was something new for me and it works great! As you fill the bag the bottom flattens out a bit to keep it upright.

Honestly the only reason why I go with Ziploc is the brand recognition much like bandaid. Bags are durable and the sealing function has worked every time, though I don't tend to re-use the bags. Haven't had any issues with frost bite either though I'm sure that is a bare minimum for these products.

I just opened a new box . Three of the six bag all on size bags split under the "zipper". There was homemade Carmel corn in the bags. Needless to say it spilled in the grocery bag we were transporting them in. I am very disappointed because the ingredients were not cheap plus time in preparation. Will see what happens with the rest of the box. This is the first time something like this happened. Maybe I got a defective box

Ziploc always has thick bags that open and close easily. This keeps things fresh and I don't have to worry about tears in the plastic or ripping when I open or close. Would buy again.

These bags have been very useful for freezing chicken and beef to be prepared later among many other uses. Unfortunately the latest order of bags was delivered less one of four boxes. I had a chat via Sam's Club with G*****o from El Salvador 14 days ago. He was very courteous and understanding. I was supposed to get a credit for the cost of the missing box but in retrospect I should have returned it for a refund but I really needed to use some of the bags. . It was the "last" one when I placed the order so be wary in a similar situation.

I have been using equate plastic storage bags for years and I really hate this new design with the "Stand up bottom". By creating the stand up bottom the SIDES ARE SHORTER of the bag. I rely on the length of the bags (both gallon and half gallon bags) to store multiple things in them and many of these things don't fit any more (ie. opened Bacon, meat packages, cheese, ect..) and these things no longer fit. As well the "stand up bottom" once filled DON'T STACK WELL IN FREEZER because they don't lie flat, things get caught in the corners after freezing, and they flop all over the freezer (ie, blueberries, apples, ect...) I don;t want to upscale to larger size because that just adds more air to freezing. I much prefer the double zip instead of the red plastic gadget which breaks or falls off. Please go back to the original design or at least offer that one to purchase as well. These "stand up bottom" has some advantages (with loose snacks, ect..) but shortening the bag by folding the sides DOESN'T make up for it. Perhaps a compromise would be to bring the sides back to original length or have a multipurpose pack with both kinds in it!

I have been using Ziploc bags for 45 years and the whole case of Gallon bags I bought are defective. Everyone of them and I paid a lot for a whole case of them. EVERY BAG I opened up with my Sausage and vegetables are in have ripped at the top when opening them and can not be resealed. I am so disappointed. I need to find another brand, can't keep spending money on these bags if they are not going to preform like they used to be.

These make the difference between having freezer burned leftovers or not. I'm trying to be more environmentally aware so I have decreased my need for freezer bags, but when I do use them, Ziplock is my go to brand.

I tried a store brand and they never stay sealed like Ziploc. The new stay open design is very helpful when doing meal prep for my large family. I will definitely buy again.

The last three boxes of these freezer bags I have purchased have been terrible. I don't even use them in the freezer. I use for leftovers and after opening and closing once or twice, the plastic tabs you use to open the zipper just rip off. I constantly have to cut these bags open. This is terrible after I have used this product for at least 30 years I'm sure. I can't believe you have ruined this product. Never again.
