I truly love these over any others. I have tried re using these before and you can. Just inspect it to make sure there's no leaks and don't reuse if your marinating anything etc. Thicker than the competition and that's the way I like it.

Ziploc freezer bags are so easy to feel. just flip over the top and it stands open without flopping over. They are so easy to seal and you know that your food will be fresh in the freezer. You can reuse because they are made to last and then recycle when you're finished.

Used the old freezers Ziploc for decades but now ziploc got greedy cheapened the zip lines so now it falls apart upon opening the bags and don't work or stay closed. Loosing food wastes your customers food. Its a disaster. And shady. These bags aren't cheap to buy just extremely cheap where use doesn't exist. Bye bye ziploc. If it wasn't broke why fix it Ziploc? So disappointing Ziploc is clearly no longer looking out for their customers base. Nothing but cooperate greed.

I tend to always go with Ziploc bags and have not been disappointed. This gallon size is a great option for bigger things you want to freeze. The bags hold up well and close, the most important tasks for keeping things fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed trying out the new stay open bags from such a trusted company in plastic freezer bags. It has a line that helps you to know exactly where to fold the bags over to unlock the feature of the bag staying open while you place things inside. I find this feature most useful for placing meat inside to freeze, fruits, veggies or any liquids that need to be poured in like soup. There is still a section on the outside the bag to label what you have placed inside. It closes easily as a push zip close. Strong thick bags and a gallon size is perfect for adding a large quantity. Experienced no freezer burn on the food I froze inside of the bags. I would recommend it highly to friends and family who freeze different food items. I first tried it with chopped onions and peppers. I also used the bags for sliced fruit and meat products such as chicken breast.

This used to be my go to freezer bag and I purchased in bulk at Sam's. The bag materials is excellent but as other reviewers have described, the new design causes the bag to rip at the top (no matter how carefully you use). I am switching to Hefty brand. I've had problems with their slider breaking after several uses, but at least you get more uses than none! Terrible design. Won't ever buy again.

Large enough and stiff enough to stay open as it sits on the counter. Easy to open and close. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a quality freezer bag

There have been a couple of scheduled power outages for my area due to an attempt on the part of the electric company to install insulated lines as a replacement for the uninsulated variety that have been implicated in California wildfires. The power was going to be off all day — more than the four hours it is safe to leave food in a refrigerator that isn't operating. I buy these Ziploc bags regularly from Sam's Club for food use but this time I needed to break down a large bag of ice to keep the individual shelves and drawers in two refrigerators cold during the outage. In each case, water leaked out of the corners of the bag as the ice melted, which left a watery mess to clean up in both refrigerators. Several years ago I noticed that these "freezer bags" had become thinner and thinner, much like the single-use plastic that is used in bottled water. (Sometimes the bottled water I buy is damaged because the weight of the water in the case, which are stacked at the club store, crushes the bottles below it, something that never used to happen in the past.) Similarly, these freezer bags aren't what they used to be. Why doesn't the Ziploc company reinforce the corners and edges of the bags if they don't want to use the heavy duty plastic they once did? Sometimes I make homemade soups and freeze them in bags because it takes up less space in my freezer than using plastic containers. Now that I appreciate that Ziplock freezer bags cannot be trusted not to leak, I won't be placing any liquids in them anymore. This is something I expect from an off brand. But plastics are bad for the environment and cheapening them is good for companies' bottom lines — so consumers apparently can't expect to get what we pay for anymore. Sign of the times!

The zipper always works properly, they never tear, and they hold a lot. The price for 60 bags was very reasonable, too.
