Ziploc is my favorite storage bag product, and I use it all the time to store my prep food or anything else. They are sturdy and seal well to store any food, even liquid. I love these new Ziploc Grip'n Seal Technology freezer gallon bags because they are stay-open design for easy filling. I am happy with my new purchase.

I absolutely love the zip lock brand and I'm always using the gallon bags for something or another. In the past I have tried off brands but it just didn't stand up to ziploc. The fact that they have finally came out with a version that stands up is icing on the cake! Now I don't need an extra set of hands to held hold the bags when I'm doing food storage.

They're thicker than the regular Ziploc bags, which helps keep your food from getting freezer burn. These bags aren't the cheapest food storage bags, but I think they work better than most store brand freezer bags.

The stay open bags are awful especially whenever it comes to freezing things they have reduced the amount of plastic used and you may as well just go ahead and pour whatever you put in the bag all over yourself I have not pulled a single bag out of the freezer yet that has not been torn I have ended up with hamburger blood down my leg chicken blood pork the whole nine. Where the pleats are is so incredibly thin and I've even had the seam down the side of the bag bust they are incredibly poorly made. I would strongly encourage going back to the original design.

They are very snappy, so there's no question about whether or not you sealed it. I do like the idea of being able to stand the bag up and fill it with a liquid or anything, really. But filling with a liquid is risky once you get it half full. Anything over halfway, and you might be cleaning up a spilled over bag. My only real complaint is that the perforated box doesn't open well/cleanly. I found myself trying to finish opening the box (so it wouldn't look so jagged) with a pair of scissors. As expected, I lost a bag by cutting into it with the scissors... even though I was super careful. Overall it's a good product and a great idea.

Everything I've put in a Ziploc freezer bag has gotten freezer burned. I buy food in bulk and freeze it to save money. With Ziploc, all that money is pretty much wasted because I can't cook the food I put in these freezer bags. Even after a week, they have ice crystals forming. Don't buy this product. You will end up losing money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a gardener in the summer time and so I like to blanch and freeze some of the things I grew so in the winter if I need the vegetables then I have them. These are by far the best freezer bags I have found to do that with. Sturdy and durable bags! Would definitely recommend these!

I love the design that helps it stay open. I tested it and it does work. I recently saw someone post recipes to freeze and I love that these will make it easy to do!
