Good idea but I have used 12 of the 24 freezer gallon bags and every one has a really bad plastic "zipper pull". It doesn't stay on, when it comes off you have to open the bag and throw it away. Argh! Never buying these again. Good idea, bad execution.

The Quart & Gallon size bags are GREAT !!! Unfortunately - Our local Sam's Club no longer sells the Quart size. They do have many more sizes that we will NEVER USE !!! A store associate told me that one customer moved a complete pallet of "junk sizes" looking for the Quart size. Something I learned here is that as a "Sam's Plus" member, we get FREE shipping on ALL online orders.

I have tried all sorts of brands. This is easy to seal and has the color zipper so you can see it is closed. I like this one because it is easy to open and it doesn't have a zipper which drives the per-unit cost up. Bag is durable - works in the freezer or in the bottom of my briefcase as to collect pens and toys.

We try to buy in bulk…canned gravy, shredded cheese, ground beef that we prepare into grounds and burgers, boxes of bacon…we love Sam’s club! :) Anyway, these bags allow us to freeze our items, label them with contents and date frozen, and then we can just grab out a bag and put in the fridge or microwave when we need it. I count these among my favorite food prep items, and the new fold down bags are nice.

I Use tons of these and find that Sam’s Club is cheapest. However when I recently ran out I purchased a Giant Brand to hold me over until my purchase from Sam’s club arrived. It was much cheaper and, to my great surprise, I found that the giant brand was just as good.

Am not impressed,,l am 70 yrs old and have problems opening the regular ones,so l bought your sliders and have been useing them but all my meat and chicken and other stuff keeps getting freezer burn,more frost on the inside and there only a week old.

My first observation is that it has a wide bottom so that I could store leftover soup or larger items in it. My second observation is that the zipper is very easy to open. First I thought it was too easy and that it would come open on its own but that's not the case. You don't know how many times I have had trouble opening the bag to store my leftovers in. This bag makes it very easy to do so. These will be my replacement for all my storage bag needs.

We were looking for easy-to-use containers for a number of recipes that we prepare in large quantity to store for convenience. The sturdier style containers are OK, but require cleanup and storage space when not in use. The Ziploc bags have turned out to be a very handy alternative. The stand-up feature requires a bit of practice for soft, liquid-filled foods, but generally works well and saves space when packages are stacked for freezing.

Package wasn't damaged due to how it was shipped. The package was crushed however who ever boxed the order chose to go ahead and put these in the box. I end up taping the all ends of each box of at Ziploc so I could place in a door and pull from the Ziploc package

I use this size ziplock bags for more than food. They are great for storage too as they keep the humidity out. For example, if I break a CD gel case, the CDs stay fingerprint and dust free in the baggie. If I'm putting something special away for the next generation, it keeps the item humidity free (especially paper items) and clean plus it doesn't take up a lot of space and I can SEE what's in the bag.
