Ziploc was the "go to" when it came to putting things up, "was" as these bags may be good for something but nothing liquid. They do not seal in anything liquid. They leak at the seals from end to end. Dont waste you money here or any place else on slider technology, power sidle or other for liquid freezing.

I have used ziplocs for many years. The last three times I have bought them, half the box is useless because the zip isn't even on the bag, or it won't even open. The first time I thought ok it's a one off, but now two times later and I'm wasting more then half the box because they are unusable. Really irritated and will have to figure out a different solution.

I have always used Ziploc bags and have always been very pleased with them. I recently purchased a bag of 50 Freezer Quart Slider bags and several of them will not open. I have not used the whole bag so I am not sure how many are defective. I have never had this problem before and think maybe there was just a bad run of them.

Unfortunately, my list of foods that I can eat and enjoy is very short and need to be cook. To make life easy on myself, I'll cook enough to last a while and put it in the new easy to open Ziploc bags and should I become hungry 1 or 2 o'clock in the morning, I can take a bag out the freezer and put it in the microwave and I'm good to go.

I bought a box of the quart sized bags. Every single one I have used thus far seals just fine and holds the seal. The first time. Try to use the zipper tab to unseal it? The tab pops straight off leaving you stuck either forcing the bag open or slicing a hole into it - either way it isn't re-useable, as it is next to impossible to get the tab back on and working again (the one time I did, it popped off again). Save your money and just buy the regular manual zip bags (I have a box of Gallon ones I haven't touched yet... probably going to track down my receipt and just return it and not risk opening it)

I like Ziplock quart-sized freezer bags with the extra long tab on one side making it easier to open. The freezer bags are thicker than storage bags and are easy to fill with beans, stews, etc. I freeze them flat and then they can be piled neatly in the freezer.

Used to be nice and thick. I pay more because I want more (quality). This last batch of ziplock bags are uncomfortably thin. We cook extra then freeze left over using ziplock brand bags. NOT SURE IF ZIPLOCK IS GOING TO WORK ANYMORE. Thanks for the memories of quality!!!

I bought this a few weeks ago and am very unhappy the this new, improved design is much thinner. It appears to be little more than a regular bag and I returned them because I don't believe they will protect items stored in my freezer from freezer burn. Hopefully the manufacturer will see enough negative feedback and reduced sales to go back to what was a good product. Avoid this dog.

I use the "slider quart size bags" for saving both new / freshly purchased & leftover food, both at room temperature and cold. Been using these for years. Recently I purchased a box of "76 slider quart size bags" and was glad I had not yet disposed of the prior no name brand's 50 slider quart size box because the design and placement of the opening for the "Ziploc 76 quart slider bags" was weird. The "ZIPLOC 76" box design & opening positions take up 3 times the horizontal shelf space versus vertical space that a properly designed box does; the box opening was in the middle of the bags instead of next to the narrow end near the slider that is easiest to grab; and overall the Ziploc 76's box design concept wastes interior space for its contents. What is the point of putting these slider quart storage bags in a useless box? And causing Ziploc customers to find an alternative storage method in order to eliminate the awkward & inconvenient box Ziploc sells them in?

I purchase food in bulk or cook in bulk and fill Ziploc freezer quart storage bags for portion control prior to freezing. Since the new design, I found most times when I thaw food, there is leakage from the bag. It's not the seal at the top, it's the design on the bottom. I will admit, filling the bags is easier but dinner prep requires me to put the bag in another container to collect the liquid when thawing.
