I use large gallon Ziploc bags often, for food transport and also freezer storage, so I was eager to try the bags with the "Grip n' Seal" technology. There's nothing worse than a bag that is difficult to open or close, so I usually get the Ziploc bags with the slider, but somehow that little bit of extra plastic always seems a extra wasteful. These bags seem like a great alternative and felt very sturdy. with the extra lip of plastic sticking up on one side, it made it extra easy to open. It really feels like a quality product compared to some generic store brand food storage bags. The only qualm I can think to add about this product is that it seems like a great idea to have the serrated opening on the top of the box, from which to pull the Ziploc bags out of... but it could have been designed slightly better so that you could rip the cardboard serration a little easier and not make a mess of it like I did.

We have been using ziploc freezer storage bags for years. They were always durable and most times reusable as well. The last two purchases of the gallon and quart bags were sub-par. Bags ripped or were easily punctured (not good when defrosting frozen fruit or anything else for that matter). Many of the bags were unusable from the start due to the tabs ripping while others ripped later when opening them after storage. Very disappointed.

All I can say is nothing I've ever used in storage bags has been easy to securely shut like the grip and seal offered by ziploc. I really like the grip and seal technology bags. The stay open design is very convenient to fill with liquid.

I love to use them for toiletries during travel and in the kitchen for meal prepping. I've never had issues with the corners busting on these the way I do with store-brand bags.

They stay open and sit up will I scoop the ice into them. It makes it easy to fill up my ice bin in the refrigerator when I need to. Ziploc is my always go to for storage.

I always have Ziploc brand bags (freezer, sandwich, and storage) on hand, so I bought an 80-count of the storage bags and I have to say I'm disappointed. It's extremely difficult to open without tearing. I thought it was just me on the first bag but my boyfriend and daughter had the same issue with other bags. So now I have to be very careful opening the bags and even then they still tear. It's ridiculous! One of the ways I use it is to store dry cat food and have my kids be responsible for feeding our cats. Well this is not going to be pretty every time they have to open the bag. Not sure what happened to the quality of these bags but it makes me not want to buy Ziploc brand again.

I was able to put items in the bag and turn it upside down with the pressure being applied to the opening and it didn't budge. I will certainly use these again.

Ziploc, what's the deal? We've used these bags for years in our house and over the last year we've noticed they've become harder and harder to open. We are two strong-handed people who are on the verge of dumping your brand because you've done something to the bags that doesn't work.

I used these for more than just freezer bags. I store left overs in them to place in the fridge. I also buy sugar, flour, corn meal mix and the such in bulk and then divide them up double bagged to place in an extra small upright freeze, using this product in this manner saves me a great deal of money over a years time, as I have three full time college students and one high school student living at home. Helps to be able to package easily in bulk.

They've been my go to brand for bags for years. I use Ziplocs for everything. I store Ziplocs in Ziplocs. The gallon size can be used for truly so many things. They are reliable and sturdy. I was excited to see and use the new stay open design. I think it's unique and very handy!
