Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. I have not used Ziploc brand bags in quite some time. These gallon storage bags are much improved to what I remember. Now, when you close the bag, you can actually feel and hear the bag is securely closed. The bottom of the bag seems to be reinforced as well. They definitely have a more sturdy feel. Overall, Ziploc has greatly improved the storage bag. Moving forward, given a choice, I will reach for Ziploc brand

Being able to fill my beloved Ziploc bags without any help or spilling is the extra feature I never knew I needed. This is perfect for saving anything that used to require an extra set of hands-from pasta salad to soups to fruit. The bag folds down on top and the bottom flattens and stays put. There is no mess. Because the top folds down, the liquid doesn't even get near the top, so it stays sanitary. I think this would be perfect for marinating chicken without the hassle. I'm so glad I was sent these Ziploc Stay Open Design bags to try in exchange for my review. I'm hooked and will definitely buy these from now on. Anything that makes my life a little easier is a win!

I bought this large amount of Ziploc bags because they have always had the best ziploc and are easy to seal and unseal. But... most of the bags are now pulling apart and the blue tab seal is separating and peeling when opened, which means you can't re-seal the bag. It didn't happen just once, but on each and every bag in the lot.

We can actually pour liquids and food with this new stay open design without using both our hands holding the bag and pouring the liquid in it. It is very convenient to use. Little time consuming as we have to open and fold the top covering and make it stay open but after we do it, it's easy go. No hassle of liquid falling down or holding the bags.

You can fold the top down while you fill the bag. I will probably purchase again but will try to use coupons since they are a little on the pricey side.

They don't leak and are easy to seal. My toddler is even able to open and close these, which he has difficulty doing with other brands. They also hold up great for long term use when we use them for coloring utensils and puzzles/legos. These are definitely my go to purchase.

The bags made for a great alternative to using a rigid glass or plastic containers for pouring leftovers into. They are also good for travel - I packed medications, toiletries, etc. in them. The "stay open" design was helpful when adding in marinade, though I did still hold it open just in case.

It is great that they stay open while you're filling them, and they are thick enough to protect what you put inside. The only thing I disliked was the box was not easy to open and tour when I was trying to open along the perforated lines I would buy these again.
