I have purchased this item multiple times. It is strong, easy to determine if it is sealed. The "zip" does not seperate from the rest of the bag.

In pleased to know i won't have to purchase ziplocs for several months thanks to bulk purchasing through Sams.

bottom broke open when putting food in it. Had to throw out food and out the money spent on the bags.

Not so easy open. Tore a few bags. Hard to pull open with elderly hands. Bags leaked when used with ice.
