Ziploc® Brand Slider Storage Bags Gallon / Large These bags are great for storing leftovers etc. we even use them for chicken, beef anything to put in freezer if a large package and we need to split things up. A little pricey compared to the Great Value brand. I recommend these as they have always been great for us

I found these Ziploc Storage Bags to be very durable and easy to use with the Stay Open Design. The bags made for a great alternative to using a rigid glass or plastic containers for pouring leftovers into. The strong double seal on the top of the bag also gave me the confidence to put the leftovers into the fridge without worrying that the bag would open, should it tip over. I recommend these Ziploc Storage Bags if you're looking for a high quality solution to easily storing your food in the fridge or pantry.

The seal stays shut, which is important. The stay open design makes it so convenient to fill them. They are strong enough to use a couple of times, and are mindfully made. A great product for around the house and office.

Not very pleased with Ziploc lately. They have really cheapened their products. The bags rips at the sides just trying to open the top of the bag and the plastic is so thin now - things poke through so easily. Most normal baggies of all sizes seem to be this way. The freezer versions are much better and Hold up well...and of course they are much more expensive.

I trust them to keep my food fresh and they do. I love that they sit up and open. Most importantly, they're BPA free. I've been buying them for years. I highly recommend anyone use them.

I have been using Ziplock bags for years and I really hate this new design with the "Stand up bottom". By creating the stand up bottom the SIDES ARE SHORTER of the bag. I rely on the length of the bags (both gallon and half gallon bags) to store multiple things in them and many of these things don't fit any more (ie. opened Bacon, meat packages, cheese, ect..) and these things no longer fit. As well the :stand up bottom" once filled DON'T STACK WELL IN FREEZER because they don;t lie flat, things get caught in the corners after freezing, and they flop all over the freezer (ie, blueberries, apples, ect...) I don;t want to upscale to larger size because that just adds more air to freezing. Please go back to the original design or at least offer that one to purchase as well. These "stand up bottom" has some advantages (with loose snacks, ect..) but shortening the bag by folding the sides doesn't make up for it. Perhaps a compromise would be to bring the sides back to original length or have a multipurpose pack with both kinds in it!

I have the same issue that Bill from OK stated, the bags rip down the side. I have a powdered mocha mix I make for my daughter, i triple bagged it before shipping, because the first 2 ripped on opening! Plus I also wrapped the mix in plastic grocery bags to insure the ziplock bags didn't break in shipping !

I was there when the original Ziploc bags came out. They worked perfectly. This junk that they are promoting now is awful. You have to keep trying to zip it closed and often the next time you use the contents, it is stale because the bag did not completely seal. Ziploc, go back to your origin and get rid of the over engineered bags and their designers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have a box of Ziploc Brand Storage Gallon Bags in my kitchen. I use them for everything. After I cut up a watermelon, I fill my Ziploc bags with watermelon, and it stays fresh for days. They work great when you want to fry up some chicken. Put all you seasonings and flour in the bag , add you chicken, close with the slider and shake your chicken, and fry!
