I like this size for smaller quantities. In fact, this is the size I reach for most often. I wish they had the kind of closure that has a rider to open and close the bag.

These bags are a wonderful addition for freezing foods that need a little more room than the quart-sized bags. The pleated bottom adds to the breath and depth of the item(s) “bagged”.

I love this new half gallon size. There are so many times I need the longer length but don't need it as high as the full gallon size. Also, the bottom folds open to allow really easy loading.

This bag is just Wonderful because it is just the right size for a number of things. There are times when a quart works or a gallon works BUT most times you just need an in-between size. This is where the half gallon comes to your aid. Perfect!!

perfect size - these are useful for items that are just too tight in a quart but way too big for a gallon bag. Opening frozen vegs and only using a small portion, this 1/2 gallon the best fit good for 1 lb baked pecans
