I first tried the crystals at a friend’s for lunch. He has a dedicated hot water line that was near boiling temp., and that dissolved the crystals without even needing to stir! Even with my microwave hot water, the crystals dissolve with barely a swish. The flavor is what the name says: classic Folgers “good to the last drop”. Top shelf—highly recommended.

Please Please Bring back the Flip Top! I grew up on this coffee and have been so pleased with it to the point I take it on every trip I go on! I carry one of the smallest jars right into the Truck stops and Hotel rooms to get my day going! I buy the 16oz jar in bulk 6-8 at a time for the house 🏠 but! Yes but I wasn't happy with the new Top! It's so what difficult to manage with fingers that don't want to cooperate some mornings. I kept an old jar for months but my 85 yr young mother threw it away not knowing it didn't fit the shape of the newer bottles 💔 Please Please Bring back the Flip Top! Better yet please send me one of the Best older jars! 😉 😜

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is this a daily want? No. Is this convenient if I need something quick? Yes. The taste isn't the same as a fresh brewed from a pot, but it does make a decent cup. It is quick and beyond easy to make.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a quick cup of coffee it’s convenient, but if you want a “real” cup of coffee I’d say stick with a coffee you can brew. I usually lean toward a strong cup so the recommended amount was too weak for my liking, but if you put too much of the instant coffee it quickly becomes bitter. All that to say, it was quite average. So do with that what you will. It’s up to you, but a medium roast coffee that you can make at home in basically seconds for a coffee fix, yeah, I’d say that’s worth a second look. Obviously, keep your expectations managed, as it is an instant at-home coffee though.

I took this instant coffee with me on a camping trip to Talladega last week and it was very convenient for me to be able to just pour it in an 8oz cup of hot water and head to the track to go watch the race. The taste took a little getting used to but it did wake me up and get me going.

I've LOVED drinking Folgers Classic Roast Instant Coffee Crystals for more than 50 years, but my most recent 2 jars are not the same. I bought the 2 jars from two different stores, in the hope that the second one would taste great again. It is terrible.The taste now is almost undrinkable! Did Folgers change the recipe, or is this just a bad batch? Please restore the delicious Folgers Coffee flavor I've loved for more than half a century!

I am always on the lookout for a great, portable instant coffee. And every single time I ALWAYS come back to Folgers Classic Roast Instant Coffee. I can be guaranteed that I will get a good, strong cup of coffee. The flavor is consistent and the taste is just like I brewed it. Please never stop making this!!!

This was the exact same coffee that my grandmother let me have as a small child. Still to this day, it's good for what you need coffee for. The taste, quality, price and value is unbeatable and at the end of the day, it's a decent coffee that does the job.
