Have had our toaster oven for about 3 years, we use it at least once a day. Thinking about upgrading to the air fryer pro since we have limited counter space and it's either the toaster oven or the air fryer and it's exhausting swapping the two constantly. We will donate out present toaster oven to someone in need to enjoy for many more years. Don't waste your money on another brand - get a Breville - you won't be sorry.

I have had my Breville for two years. A year ago I bought a new range and used the oven only once. I do all my baking, toasting roasting in the Breville. I can bake two normal sized loaves of bread at once. I've roasted buckets of tomatoes, many casseroles, pizza, pita bread, meat roasts and meat loaf. It just does everything with a very even heat and so versatile, especially with the convection. I'm happy to see you have added an interior light.

Purchased the Smart Oven Pro in Oct 2019. It has worked nicely but in the last couple months the fan has become very noisy....expect it to fail soon. As other reviewers have said...you'd expect a longer life (and longer warranty period) from this expensive unit.

I purchased the Smart Oven Pro BOV845 around one year ago, it works perfectly and is in use sometimes twice/day. I make pizza (with a pizza stone), muffins, croissants, roasting veggies, even bread and buns. Everything turns out wonderful. BUT: the bigger door hinge on the left hand side SCREECHES in a way that becomes more and more intolerable, especially in the morning. It gets louder and louder over time, there are 2 metal pieces grinding on each other, it's horrible. I don't know what to do anymore, and I am looking already for another brand with similar features. I should have kept my old B&D which served me perfectly for more than 9 years, it just looked outdated and I thought I treat myself with the Smart Oven Pro, especially the light feature is wonderful, who would have thought that it's not as well engineered as expected. I have seen in other reviews people having the same problem with the screeching hinges.

We purchased this June 2018, or 3.5 years ago. It's starting to make a noise so I'm considering a replacement. Looks like I got a deal or the price has increased $50.00. This oven has revolutionized my cooking, living in Southern California I have rarely "baked" in the summer, needing to keep the house cool. My kids, now 9, 10 and 13 have learned to bake home made cookies, corn bread, pumpkin pies, apple pies, french fries and muffins. Bagels and toast are perfection. Heating fish sticks, chicken nuggets is just as easy as roasting salmon. Instead of a batch of cookies, we can bake a few daily, enjoying the freshness and smells. The build in computer/preset keeps cookies from burning and the oven shuts off at the timer! We refer to the helpful height indicators for broiling or baking. Our build in double oven is now relegated for storage. I hope Breville will improve the reliability!

On my second Smart Oven (Regular & Pro) and the fans have died after two years. Basically using as a plain toaster oven that could be bought for a lot less. Really liked them while they lasted, but too expensive to have to replace every couple of years.
