Buzzing, Flashing, Beeping

After a couple of years of use, the Smart Oven Pro began to RANDOMLY beep/flash or buzz/flash for no apparent reason. The unit would sit idle for days, then unexpectedly begin to make noises and flash. Unplugging it and replugging would sometimes stop the "episode," but not all the time. Pushing the start button would sometimes stop the episode.

Love It...But!

First, let me say we love our Smart Oven Pro. It does everything well. We like the styling and the number of possible settings. We like the styling so much we also got the Brevelle microwave. The only thing we don't like is the start button is beginning to fail and it's only 3 years young. Unfortunately, Breville won't sell the end user internal parts citing safety concerns. To have it fixed we'd have to send to a repair center which could possible cost as much as buying a new product. That seems wasteful. Other than this costly part we still would recommend it.

Smart oven pro

My Smart Oven Pro worked for about a week. Then the fan got real noisy & error code E05 came on. I called Breville & talked with someone who sent me an email to attach my receipt of purchase to. I attached a screen shot of it in my reply. I have not heard back from anyone & have been too busy with more important things to follow up. I would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks!

Great when it works, until it doesn't.

Fantastic and easy to use when it works, but I've gone thru two units in the last 1.5 years. My first unit's convection element failed nearly a year after my purchase, and half a year into my 2nd unit, the whole thing went dead and displayed a fatal 'E01' error code. As long as Breville keeps replacing my units under warranty, I'll keep taking them. But it is really a hassle for what is essentially the top end/top price oven like this.

Noisy Convection Fan

I bought my first Breville BOV845BSS back in 2018. After about 2 1/2 yrs of use the Convection Fan started getting noisy. So I ordered another. After 4 months the Convection fan became noisy. Called Customer Service. Sent it back and Breville sent me a Refurbished one. Less than a month the Convection Fan became noisy. Called Customer Service. Sent the Refurbished one back and this time Breville sent me a brand new replacement. Not a refurbished one. I plugged it in to test for a noisy fan and it is quiet for now, but with being on my fourth BOV845BSS, I'm not confident that this new one won't develop a noisy fan too. Not very good odds I'd say.
