Best 5W-30 oil currently available!

I use this oil in my car's GDI engine and I know several people who love using it in their high performance Subaru engines like that of the STi, WRX, and Forester XT. It just doesn't shear like other 5W-30 oils often do. I am very happy that Shell offers this product but it is very difficult to find in stores and usually online retailers offer it at a more premium price. I hope it is made more commonly available in the future!

Great oil - best price I have found

I use this Rotella T6 in all my cars with synthetic requirement for oil. Its low weight and high viscosity - good stuff. Holds up well in my 350HP turbo application and also lasts the 7,500mi interval for my non-turbo car. I have even started trying in my motorcycle and so far seems good.

Appears to me T6 may reduce cold injector sticking

I have used various brands of synthetic oils on my 2006 F250 super duty 6.0 diesel over the past 10 years. I have not had the injector ECM reflashed, and in cold weather the engine sometimes chugs until the oil warms up. I attribute this to injector solenoid sticking. This cold chugging was noticeably reduced when I changed to ROTELLA T6.

superman oil!!

how do i keep adding stars..its stops me at 5. I discovered t6 10w30 in desperate attempt to keep it running as a gasoline engine. not only did it keep it running it revived it reswelling gaskets and getting a superiors oil too the top of heads that completely stopped all lifter ticking, smoothed out rough running vibration, from regular oils, increased fuel economy and increased performance in a engine had i put conventional 10w30 was certainly doomed to die without T6. So when i bought my my truck it was automatic gonna run T6 5W30 and i experimented running the dealership oil, added oil catch can system within a week oil found in catch can & darkened alot and lifters we're beginning to be heard by 2weeks it had used half quart from towing. I dumped dealship oil new full synthetic filter and T6 5w30 in a 4cylinder turbo gasoline engine cleaned oil catch can.. Immediately improved lifter noise and smoothed motor running, again noticable fuel economy gains and horseplay increased, motor ran snappy and smooth the turbo stopped using oil and spooled faster smoother and oil catch can barely had oil vaper inside. ran in 6,000 miles and oil was still on good shape.. your t6 product is Top tier anyone wanting half million miles on engine this oil one of the only options best oil for my demanding driving by a longshot, keep up the excellence Shell I rave about your products to everyone!

None better on today market

I have been studying everything I can get my hands on pertaining to oil and I am convinced Shell who lena Pennzoil and Quakerstate as well as Rotella line of oil has teacher a far superior oils for piston drive motors then anyone else. Because of my finding , I will be using only Shell oils in all my fleet of vehicle s.

BRUH MY LIFTER TICK IS GONE

Okay folks, I have a 1990 miata. Bad lifter tick like baaaaaaaaaaad lifter tick. It was ticking louder than the clock did in high school when it was the end of the day and you just wanted to go home so you were aimlessly starring at it waiting for it to hit 60. ANYWAYS, i did an oil change on it and used this, cause everyone in the Miata community swears by it. After it was all said and done I went on a little cruise and oh my god. It's gone. No more ticking nothing. And I swear my little Miata is running better than it ever has before. A1 stuff man

Great oil. Timing chain rattle on cold start gone.

I live in South Florida. I had a timing chain rattle on my Mercedes diesel OM642 on cold startup with the recommended 0W-40 Mobile 1. Mobile 1 did not have 5W-40 for Mercedes diesel so I decided to go with this oil. My rattle is completely gone. The only downfall is I have to change it at 5k vs 10k. I am okay with that since the motor seems to be running smoother.

Marine diesel switch to T6

I have a 17 year old Volvo TAMD41P-A diesel in my 31' recreational trawler. Prior engine oils for the prior owner (11 years) and me have been 15-40 dino oils, until I switched to full synthetic engine oil, also 15-40. Operating temperature dropped 5 degrees at standard cruising RPM of 1800 to 2200 (only one of two thermostats in place most of that time), the engine runs quieter and more smoothly. Based on research I have found, I know that my engine is running cleaner, with other attributes of reduced internal corrosion, less wear, etc. After installing 2 new thermostats, the engine runs precisely on specification for operating temperature through the full range of RPM, right up to wide open throttle, 3800 (end of the day 10 minute spike to clean the exhaust system ). Further, smoke when starting is greatly diminished to almost zero. I am completely satisfied that I am doing all that I can to accomplish optimal engine performance and protection with Rotella T6 over the last two years, and I am comfortable recommending Rotella T6 to boating friends with diesels, confident in the cost/benefit of using the best oil quality, grade and viscosity for my application.

Excellent all-around oil for heavy-duty use

We run it in gasoline-powered endurance race cars now. Same protection as Mobil1 0-40 we used to run, but way cheaper and more available. Once had a car come in with a badly warped head, no coolant, and boiling oil (coolant hose burst and the driver didn't notice) - over 10 minutes out on track without coolant! Still kept the rods in, no hard parts got damaged. Highly recommended! I use it in street diesels and my motorcycles, too - also works great there.
