I run this in everything I own

Great product for cheap. I run it in a 2001 twin turbo Audi V6 - 170K miles change at 10K miles, 2002 Nissan Pathfinder - 180K miles - changed at 5K miles, BMW R1200GSA motorcycle - 133K miles - changed at 4K miles. This oils exceeds all manufacturer's specifications, never had any issues. Last time I opened the valve covers on the bike it looked brand new in there at over 100K miles

Much better in cold weatehr

Anyone with a Ford 6.0 PowerStroke who lives in a climate where it gets below freezing knows the engine makes knocking noises and is loud & unresponsive when the engine is started in cold weather if the block heater has not been plugged in. With synthetic Rotella T6, though, the engine is much quieter, and does not require as much warm-up time as compared to using conventional oil. Even if one uses a block heater at home, most people don't have that luxury to keep their truck plugged in while at work. It sure makes the drive home quieter and faster, not having to let the engine warm up as much before hitting the road

The best

I have been running shell oil since I bought my duramax in 2002, the truck has been used for construction in northern Alberta in the oilfield it’s entire life. Big trailers, -30C morning starts, working lots of hours , Shell’s fluids have never let me down. The truck has 800000 km- 12000 engine hours on it and the engine runs as good as it did the day I drove it off the lot. Doesn’t use any oil at all from oil change to oil change. I Switched to t6 at 400000km and run the 5w40 year round. I change oil every 5-6000 km. If your looking for the best fluids to run in your diesel pick up this is it.

Great for my RAM ECODIESEL and Motorcycle

bike is a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard C90...Perfect. Great clutch feel and shift effort is nil. No ticking in the engine. and the cost is amazing. And on my 2016 Ram EcoDiesel, the factory oil was running almost one hundred dollars (10.5Qt required), now that Ram said "OK" to Rotella, im down around 60US! Awesome

Works great in my motorcycle!

I have been using this oil in my 1998 Honda F6 Valkyrie Tourer for 6 years now, and have had no issues with clutch operation. Even at full throttle with the big 6 cylinder engine, no clutch slippage. Also, the notorious Valkyrie top gear whine was a lot quieter immediately after the first oil change. It's also priced a lot cheaper than the competing oils, a nice added bonus. I don't hesitate to change the oil when I should, when the price is about half of other high end or OEM oils. It's available at many local retailers, so, it's easy to obtain. I wish it was available in other weights like 5W20. I would use it my 2010 F150 5.4L if I could, because it's really not that much more expensive than conventional oil.

None better on today market

I have been studying everything I can get my hands on pertaining to oil and I am convinced Shell who lena Pennzoil and Quakerstate as well as Rotella line of oil has teacher a far superior oils for piston drive motors then anyone else. Because of my finding , I will be using only Shell oils in all my fleet of vehicle s.

Been using in 1997 Ford F250 7.3 and no issues

I have used this in both my 1997 f250 7.3 and my 2005 f250 6.0 with no adverse issues at all. Best level of oil for the price before you start considering the Amsoils and Redlines that cost double. As long as your sticking to a routine schedule of changing the oil and filter, the Shell T6 will do more than its part in taking care of your engine and its internals. If your trying to go over 10k miles in between oil changes step up to the top of the line oils and pay the premium, but thats on you. Use genuine Ford filters with this and your golden. But i cant stress this enough, stick to routine maintenance intervals for your truck and they will last you hundreds of thousands of miles. Also always compare between walmart and amazon cause they go back and forth in who has the cheaper prices.

Works great but smells terrible

My cummins has a PCV system which is simply a tube discharging to atmosphere around the oil pan. (04 common rail). There's no significant blowby - but after running the truck and coming to a stop - the smell of the offgassing engine oil is potent. Has that smell of gear oil. So when I come to a stop - I have to turn the HVAC off - otherwise it'll stink up the cab. A quick internet search found "RoSmella" as the common nickname... Ha ha! I hoped it would go away after a few miles - but at 2000 miles so far - it still stinks. I'll have to try something else next time. From a lubrication/functionality standpoint - it seems to be just fine.

Simply the BEST for motorcycles

Ive bought countless gallons of this oil for my 2 motorcycles. I run this oil in a 1994 Ninja ZX6E, 2012 KLX250S. Both run flawless. It provides amazing wet clutch shifting. My ZX6E when I bought it had Mobil 1 10W-40 in it before and my 2nd gear often slipped a lot. I was worried big time I bought a junker. Swapped out the oil with some Rotella and well 2 years later that slipping never occured again. Ive completely forgotten that ever happened now and its been a strong runner ever since. Solid oil that constantly impresses me in all my bikes. I recently had a valve adjustment done on that ZX6E and the mechanics were very impressed with the cleanliness of the motor. Keep in mind that motor is 20yrs old and has had 75,000 miles on it. Thats not a lot for a motor but few bikes ever see that number. With Rotella I easily have a 100,000+ mile motorcycle on my hands. Im sticking with Rotella as long as I ride motorcycles and ya of course the price keeps me coming back for more and more. If you ride a motorcycle..... and I mean any motorcycle currently on the market you owe it to your bike and wallet to buy this very hard proven oil.

Zero problems with this oil!

I've used the Rotella T6 5w-40 for years and years in motorcycles with wet clutches, trucks, and tractors and had no problems. Most notably I've used it in: 2004 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100 (wet clutch) and put 30k+ miles on it and I used it in my 2011 F-150 for it's entire life (bought new). The F-150 is impressive because it had the 3.5L Ecoboost, the first year of that engine, and I put over 218k miles on it with nothing done to the engine except oil changes and spark plug changes. I also use this in my tractors, I used it in my 2002 Dodge 2500 with the Cummins (bought new, sold at 168k miles), and other vehicles. I love this oil.
