[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tested the Google Nest Doorbell (3rd Gen, wired) and it's definitely a step up in clarity and smart features. The 2K HDR video is sharp and wide enough to catch everything happening at my doorstep, and I love that the AI-powered alerts can tell me if it's a person, package, or even a pet. Installation was straightforward since it's wired, but that also means there's no battery option—so flexibility is limited if you don't already have wiring in place. The two-way audio is clear, and I've had smooth conversations with delivery drivers without any lag. One thing to note: many of the advanced features (like extended video history and smarter AI summaries) require a Google Home subscription, which feels like a downside if you want the full experience. Overall, this doorbell is perfect for anyone already in the Google Home ecosystem who values crisp video and reliable alerts. If you prefer a battery-powered option or don't want to pay for a subscription, you might want to explore alternatives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest Doorbell sound like a great feature for my house. I was really excited to install it and got my husband to help me. What a nightmare! The installation is horrible, there's no manual only YouTube video with a tutorial and the freaking part on top simply doesn't fit properly (reason why I had to use a hook to hold the camera). Now it is installed, but my chime box won't stop going off. I do not recommend it at all especially if you have an older house. Don't get the wired version! It will be a nightmare! The camera is the only good thing. But I don't even know if I can keep this or if my chime box will explode at this point (and yes, it is supposed to be compatible with it)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product! It's so user friendly and the quality is amazing! Battery life is great and it doesn't drain fast. It's amazing how it can detect people and products through the camera. I definitely recommend it if you want high quality camera and not on a budget.

It provides exceptionally clear video both day and night, with a wide 166 degree field of view that captures visitors and packages alike. Using the Google Home app, users can watch live feeds, review recorded events, and connect effortlessly with other Nest and Chromecast devices. Its clean, modern design enhances any entryway, delivering a polished blend of security, convenience, and style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't messed around with the app too much but it seems pretty straight forward. Not interested in setting up voice recognition for a doorbell. The clarity of the camera is about the same maybe slightly better than our other home cameras. We have no had any issues with it connecting to our WiFi so far. One star taken away though because during set up I could not get anything to work or connect from my google account but when my husband tried it from his account it worked just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently bought a new condo with no front windows or peep whole and this camera has been a life saver! It's the perfect addition to our new home. It provides peace of mind with no worries! We looked at a lot of different options and this was by far the best choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doorbell was a breeze to install with the detailed instructions it came with! It ended up taking us longer than expected since we ran into wiring issues (older house) but once we had that all fixed, it took less than an hour to set up. We love the integrated app that makes it super easy to check notifications. It's also very sleek and modern looking. Highly recommend this doorbell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wish we would have waited so long to try the nest doorbell (wired, 3rd gen)! This camera was not only easy to install, but also very user friendly while operating. It was very simple to connect the camera in the Google Home app! I feel as though the camera has a very sleek looked outside of our house! Almost all of the other door bell camera we looked at gave me an over whelming feeling of store security camera, and that exactly what I did t want. I still want my house to look inviting, and for the doorbell camera to blend in well. i am very impressed on the picture quality of this doorbell. We were very surprised by how clear the picture is! It does have great night vision so this doorbell has a very clear picture both night and day. This doorbell is on the pricer side, however I feel like it's worth every penny, and wish we would have purchased it a long time ago. It's excellent quality is well worth it! I would highly recommend this Nest Doorbell (wired 3rd gen) to all of my family and friends!
