There are several brands of Mayonnaise for many different things to make. Miracle whip is best when using for salad dressings (homemade) and deli style sandwiches. I grow up with Miracle Whip. It was even in Momma's chocolate cake. It makes good mixed dressing too. it's smooth texture and slightly tangy flavor is so tasty in so many ways. It's good in all my recipes, sweet and savory. It doesn't break. Makes excellent dips for chips or vegetables. I have a recipe that's Miracle Whip, cream of chicken soup with curry powder, OMG is it good, and mayonnaise would never work. And a plus is it's low in calories.
