Very odd, I've bought these before and had no problems. This latest batch though stays hard regardless of how long I microwave or how much water I added. Super dissapointed.

I have these in my house. I really love them because they are so easy to make. Just open the cup, get the cheese out and fill it to the line, and put it in the microwave. They are single serve, so if you don't want to do a whole pot of mac and cheese, this is a way to go.

We recently tried this product as a snack for my son, who loves macaroni and cheese. It is fairly easy to make and affordable. However, I didn't really like the way it looked once the noodles were microwaved into the starchy water. The package states it is supposed to look like that so the sauce will thicken up. It looked gooey to me and unappealing. I mixed in the "liquid gold" with the shells. It looked better but tasted a little like cardboard to me. I added an Italian cheese blend and let it cool. It began to taste better as the flavors meshed, however I could still taste the starchy almost cardboard-like flavor. I let my son try it and he kind of liked it however I almost had to force him to eat at, which kind of ruins the ease of feeding my son macaroni and cheese. It would be a good item to place in a stockpile since it only needs water, but it's not something I would want to eat or feed my son everyday.

I think Velveeta is the one I'm gonna talk about but I don't no like power cheese. I don't like the method of adding water to something u threw in a cup. I have to add more cheese and sugar to give it actual flavor. But even though ones with the real cheese inside it's still nasty and flavorless.

Velveeta is one of the brands my family loves eating. It's our favorite because of the shells for one and of course the creamy cheese. I prefer creamy cheese sauce over powder any day. Powdered cheese macaroni dries out faster that the creamy sauce IMO. They are affordable too! Once I found out they sold they in a package bundle like this, I really took advantage of that instead of buying a single box. As much as we eat it, that bundle came right on time. They also have the broccoli and the bacon Mac as well. I highly recommend to any Mac and cheese lovers!
