Even after adding a little extra water and increasing to cooking time the shells still come out a little on the under cooked side some what hard or tough to chew.

If you follow the directions on the package, the contents will overflow. Best way to cook is to put enough water in to just cover the shells, then microwave on 1/3 power for 8 minutes. Turns out perfect every time, without worrying about contents erupting all over the inside of your oven.

This mac and cheese taste great and is convenient but the price for what you get is ridiculous. One of the pitfalls of buying during a pandemic, I guess. You pay more than double the normal price. But not again, it's so not worth it, just buy something else.
