I have had 4 Shark vacuums. They usually work for 2-4 years. I brought my most recently purchased Shark vacuums, the repairman told me Sharks are built and designed to break! I guess so since inn10 years I've owned 4. There is no reset button if the machine dies. It's time for me to switch to another brand of vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just tested the Shark PowerDetect Transformer PowerTrio System Uplight Vacuum, and it accurately determines the floor type and adjusts its settings automatically! Also, the head rotates 180 degrees, which makeses really easy to move and get all the pet's hair out of the carpet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this shark vacuum. It has three attachments that are easy to use. The suction power of this thing is unreal. It will bring stuff up you didn't know was there even after using a different vacuum first. Isn't too loud which is nice. It is a little heavy with the big tank on it but it is worth it. It pulls while you are vacuum so you dont have to worry much about that. It has a swivel head on it so you can move it easily. And the small profile head makes it easy to get under stuff easily. It has two or three settings on it. One is for hard floors the other for short carpet and then long carpet. Or you can but it on auto and it will switch when you hit whatever surface. That's the setting I use the most. It is a really nice vacuum and if it is like the other shark vacuums I have had it will last a long time. If you haven't had a shark vacuum before I highly recommend getting one. They have been the best vacuum I've ever had.

Been a Shark fan for years. This one is several steps above my 20 year old Shark! Took a bit to adjust to having 3 vaccums in 1 but I love it!

Love the fact that I can break it down to reach behind my birds cage so I don't have to disturb him or clean under my bed without struggling

Incredible suction in the upright position. I do miss having a hose but waiting for some attachments to make the handheld easier.

I received my vacuum last week. I absolutely love it! Best vacuum I've ever used. It is lighter weight than my previous vacuum which means a lot since I have shoulder and elbow issues. Only thing I would suggest is that the upholstery attachment should come with the vacuum. I was surprised that only the crevice tool did. Thank you Shark for another great product.

Favorite vaccuum I've bought so far! Has excellent power, I love that it can change into 3 parts and has auto functions.

Extremely versatile.A little heavy but you don't need to vaccum with the canister on. If you need a good vaccum this is the one to buy.

I just received my new Shark Transformer vac. I am very disappointed with the suction when I use it without the large dust container. In any mode other than full sweeper canister mode, the suction is very low, to the extent that it will not pick up all of the pet hair. I do have a Husky, so I need a good sweeper that has good suction capability in all modes; the cheaper Sharks have much better suction in that mode. It will not sweep shag rugs, which the other Shark sweeper I have does. It is heavy when I try to use it as a wand to reach high spots; it is not good for seniors or anyone without strong arm strength. I am 67 and do not consider myself weak, but this is very heavy to hold up to get cobwebs or dusting fans for any length of time. The other models with the lift-away, even though connected to a hose and canister, are much better in suction and weight. I was so excited to receive this upgraded sweeper when I ordered it, but it has been a great disappointment
