The Apple Watch fails that standard in several ways that buyers should be aware of before spending several hundred dollars. Band Fit — Not Designed for Adult Wrists The watch ships with a Small/Medium band that is noticeably undersized. Even on the last notch, it is too tight for a normal adult male wrist. This isn't a comfort issue — it's a sizing issue. The included band feels more like something meant for a teenager or a child. Buyers with larger wrists will be forced to purchase a Large or XL band immediately, adding extra cost to a product that should already fit. Charging — Cable Included, But No Way to Use It Apple includes a magnetic USB‑C charging cable but does not include a USB‑C wall adapter. That means the watch cannot be charged out of the box unless you already own a compatible charger. If you don't, you're stuck buying additional hardware before you can even turn the watch on. For a premium device, this is unacceptable. A product at this price point should come with everything required to operate it. Travel Charging — Not Possible Without More Purchases Charging on the road is impossible unless you buy a USB‑C car charger or a portable battery with USB‑C output. Again, this adds more cost and inconvenience. A watch should not require a shopping list just to function. Overall Experience The delivery was excellent — the driver did their job perfectly. The product itself, however, feels incomplete. Between the undersized band and the missing charger, the Apple Watch is not ready for use out of the box. Buyers should be prepared to spend additional money immediately, or they will be left with a device they cannot wear and cannot charge. Consumer Warning If you expect a fully usable product upon arrival, be aware: You will need to purchase a proper band and a USB‑C charger before this watch becomes functional. Apple's packaging choices create unnecessary frustration and added expense. Consider this before buying.
