I was excited to get this new Samsung machine. My old one, also a Samsung died after 14 years of use and I was happy with that one. I am disappointed that the new machine does not let me select a cold rinse for every cycle. It only rinses the laundry cold when selecting cold as the wash temperature, so no hot wash & cold rinse or even warm wash &cold rinse is possible. The laundry always comes steaming warm. It would be more energy efficient if the cold rinse could be used at all wash temperatures.

This machine is "compact" and requires several loads. It's energy efficient and quiet. Honestly I would have gone for a larger unit but we needed something that can fit in our space. Does a poor job on larger loads.

We did about 50 loads, nearly back to back, in preparation for an estate sale and it worked like a charm, getting through loads quickly and thoroughly. The only real surprise is that it doesn't have any Wi-Fi features, so it doesn't integrate with our other appliances that we can manage with Smart things.

This thing handles everything from everyday clothes to bulky blankets without struggling, and the 4.5 cu. ft. capacity is way bigger than it looks. I can do fewer loads now, which saves a ton of time. The Vibration Reduction Technology+ actually works too — even during high spin cycles it stays surprisingly quiet and doesn't sound like a helicopter taking off in the laundry room. Huge plus if you live in an apartment or have laundry near bedrooms. What really impressed me is how clean clothes come out. Dirt, sweat, pet hair, and odors all come out without having to rewash stuff. The spin cycle pulls out a ton of water, so clothes dry faster too. The Self Clean+ feature is another underrated bonus because it keeps the washer fresh without much maintenance. The black stainless finish looks clean and modern, not cheap or plasticky like a lot of washers in this price range. Controls are simple, easy to figure out, and the Smart Care diagnostics are nice if you ever need troubleshooting. No washer is perfect, but for the price, performance, capacity, and looks, this machine punches way above its class. If you want a powerful, quiet, modern front loader that doesn't destroy your clothes and actually makes laundry easier, the WF45T6000AV/A5 is a solid choice. Definitely worth it.
