The toilet paper itself is soft and really provides for a stronger paper. I find that I am using less, so it is extending the life per roll due to its durability and strength. I have been pleased with this product and fully intend on switching to the Charmin Ultra Strong going forward and have recommended it to friends.

When I checked the price in the grocery store, however, the difference was obvious. Charmin Ultra Strong is a perfectly fine toilet paper, but it's not worth the additional cost over generic.

Our new addition is a teenage girl and they use toilet paper for everything, especially when applying and fixing makeup. I immediately noticed an increase in our toilet paper usage. So I decided to try this and explained to everyone that they could use less but get the same result. It worked! Charmin ultra strong is the best that I have used. Strong(which means carrying less) soft(who does not need that) and knowing that it is ok for the environment. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the past my wife has bought TP that's suppose to be soft enough for angels but with our family of 4, we'd go through a 24 pack each week. When I received this Charmin, I was somewhat skeptical because I don't usually pay a lot of attention to this sort of stuff. When I opened this, I'll have to say, on the first use, it got my attention. When I rolled off the usual amount, it was just too much to even use. So, I tried again with half as much as normal but that was still really too much. I finally realized that I could use less than half of my normal amount and get an even better job done. The 4 rolls that I received lasted over 6 days in my kids bathroom and normally in that 6 day period they would go through about 7 rolls of that other tissue. I called my wife's attention to it and she agreed, we would be buying this in the future. It costs a little more than that other stuff for the same amount but it lasts over twice as long. So thanks to the Charmin Ultra Strong, we'll be saving a little bit of money. And as everyone knows, that means a lot in today's economy. I highly recommend Charmin Ultra Strong to anyone that wants a strong, very soft toilet tissue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heavy duty. Found the product to be quite the quicker picker upper. Although the the rolls were not as long as our other brand we found that you didn't need as much. Being huge on comfort in that area, we found that it was one of the best to use. Realistically we purchased more to test and have move away from northern. Used a few rolls for the holidays and noted that a lot was used up. Hopefully it want the cooking.

It is so soft, and I am able to use less to do the same job as using a ton. Soft on the bum gets an A in my book!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, what can you say about toilet paper (without being too graphic)? First of all, the paper is both soft and thick. This means that it doesn't feel like sandpaper nor falls apart when you use it. So that is a plus for me. With this being thick, my concern is that the paper causes some plumbing problems. So far I haven't seen this happen. I guess the paper still dissolves effectively. Plus with it being thick and not falling apart, you don't use as much as the normal two-ply stuff. In short, not only do I recommend Charmin ultra-strong, I kinda wish other places use it too.
