[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Charmin Ultra Soft and just tried out Charmin Ultra Strong. The biggest difference between the two is exactly as the names say. The Ultra Strong is stronger and the Ultra Soft is softer. Not that the Ultra Strong is rough or anything, just a little stiffer. I do find that I use less squares with the Ultra Strong, but I personally like a little more distance between my hand and the what ends up on the other side of the paper, so extra layers of paper is my preference. Plus I'm a big fan of the softness of the Ultra Soft. But, if you want a strong toilet paper that makes you use less, the Ultra Strong is tough to beat.

The rolls last so much longer then other competitors and with 3 little children that is very important. I also know that it's safe for their bottoms and won't hurt them when they use Charmin everyday. The softness plus durability is a huge plus. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin is a great name brand. I associate the brand with quality. My first impression of a roll of Ultra Soft with our normal toliet paper was it's much smaller. It's about an inch less in width and the roll was much smaller. I have children that use the same about of paper if it's small or large. I believe we don't need the wider toliet paper, but we would still need more. The roll is softer, but much smaller in volume. I would like to have more volume with the softness of the ultra soft. The toliet paper is the quality you would expect from Charmin, but I lowered the rating due to the smaller volume of the roll.

Most toilet paper is good enough for me; of course there are some really cheap toilet paper that nobody can stand. I have never used Charmin Ultra Strong before. I have found this is truly to be a cut above the rest! What I really like about it is that it's not too heavy like some strong/soft toilet paper and you have to flush after every wipe...did I really write that down... but just the right amount of weight I guess is a good saying for it. Charmin's Ultra Strong is really the best paper I have used to date.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Charmin UltraStrong toilet paper to try for free from BzzAgent. I received 4 rolls. I put one in the downstairs bathroom and others in the upstairs two bathrooms. I replaced the Scotts toilet paper roll with the Charmin to try. I liked the Charmin TP for it's strength. It takes few sheets compared to other ordinary toilet paper. The touch was also not bad. Compared to Scotts, it is much softer, but I liked Quilted Northern for softness. The kids also seem to like the Charmin and did not receive any complains or comments. Overall, it is a good toilet paper with a blend of strength and softness.

It lasted long for me - even though it does not seem as big as some other brands, you need to use less of it, because it is thicker. However, it is soft at the same time, so it is gentle on your skin. Can be fine for babies or grown-ups. I actually like the fact that you do not need to use as much sheets as I hate to waste paper. So Charmin works the charm!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family of 4 has been using Cottonelle for awhile now. We liked the way it, um, performed but it would tend to "shed" a bit. The Charmin Ultra Strong doesn't appear to have this issue and so far I would say it performs better. So it's not messy and it cleans well. What more can you ask for from toilet paper?

I have to be completely honest here, it was as thick as a paper towel. the softness was great and there settee no dreaded break through while wiping. I did find that it clogged my toilet! it is advertised that you can use less, and I purposefully did. I also found that it didn't dissolve very well in the toilet water. I do like the charming brand, but I think I may try a less fluffy kind.
