[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have been a Charmin fan. After getting my box of 4 rolls of the Ultra Strong, I will continue to be a customer. Super high quality and does not shred or ball up like other competitors toilet paper does.

It was "Super Strong", as in no tearing whatsoever and actually soft to boot. With toilet paper this strong, I found that I was using less too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Charmin Ultra Strong is exactly what they say - ultra strong. This toilet paper is very thick and you definitely don't have to worry about breaking through this tissue. It is still soft but is obviously a bit coarser than the Ultra Soft.

You can easily use half the amount of toilet paper with the same result. It has the durability of paper towel but with the softness you need. I couldn't recommend enough!!

If this is the product you are putting out now, we'll be switching to Northern. We have been using Charmin for years because of its softness as well as its strength. Not any more! Your product is no better than the second rate tissue found in highway service stations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give this new TP an average rating because it does live up to the hype of being stronger, however, it seems to be a bit courser than the other types of Charmin toilet papers. I'm not saying it's like sand paper but you can notice a difference. In fact, everyone in the house noticed a different, including my father-in-law when he used it. I guess he prefers a more pillow-y style of TP too. We were pleased to try the new Charmin type but we'll stick to the others instead because they're strong enough. One positive note is that you could clean up simple spills with it if you don't have paper towels on hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is a great toilet paper for people who normally use 1-ply TP. However, it is not such a great comparison to my normal TP. It is a quilted paper, but it still felt rough and instead of feeling soft it felt bulky. The packaging clearly compares the 4-roll package to the amount of 8 rolls, but it's not. My normal brand has a bigger roll with a 2-ply. This product failed to meet my expectations of a 2-ply toilet paper. On a great note: the paper is not glued to the roll like most others. It helps that there are reviewers out there that are will to take the time to give the public information on their experiences. I hope this review will help you as well in deciding if this product is right for you. Well I have to say that this product does provide a lot of comfort during use. I am actually use to TP like Scott 5000 which is rough and thin. I find the thickness of Charmin to be both good and bad. The reason for this is that while it is thick and requires a smaller amount to be used, it also does not last long and can clog a toilet quite easily. That being the case, you have to be mindful and flush often. I find this very annoying which is why I have used products like Scotts that are thinner and last longer. I also feel as a male that it's easier to not use a softer paper like Charmin, but for females the softness might be more desirable.
