what was once mega tools now look like double rolls. they are also flimsy and flaky. i have used the ultra strong and soft for many years and they were great. i don't even need to use the toilet paper holder that was packaged with them when they first came out. a regular holder works now. so disappointed.

This toilet paper helps you to appreciate the finer things in life. Being recent college graduates, my husband and I are thankful for Charmin Ultra Strong. It holds up better than dorm toilet paper and makes bathroom experiences pleasant and unforgettable.

It lives up to the name, It's Charmin which indicates that the toilet paper is great quality, softness is definitely there. It even claims to be Ultra Strong and I would say that it covers that base as well. The paper is very strong and does not tear easily. The only drawback I can see and it has nothing to do with quality, its more about quantity. I am used to using double roll toilet paper, so it seems like it lasts a lot longer. Having a house full of kids, we use a lot of toilet paper, so not having to change the roll as often helps. So I give it 4 out of 5 stars. It lives up to the Charmin name and expectations of softness. But a double roll of it would be nice.

After receiving my free sample of Charmin Ultra Strong I am convinced it is the way to go! The TP is so strong and effective, but also does NOT clog the toilets. PLUS, since it works so well, you don't need to use as much! One roll of this Charmin Ultra Strong is lasting me more than twice as long as my normal Angel Soft Roll. I can see that being a cost savings in the future. My family has tried this TP too and they love it. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone to try. My tendency in the past has been just to buy the cheapest TP out there, but after trying CHARMIN Ultra Strong , I am going to be buying Charmin more often.

Strong is always a plus, but some like it soft and gentle while others prefer a rougher sturdier feel to their TP. I prefer a certain level of strength in my toilet paper, to ensure it can handle the daunting demands I place upon it. You can imagine my concerns when I opened the Charmin Ultra Strong package and noted the softness and thickness of the TP within. This stuff is seriously plush. Could it handle the challenge I was about to deliver? Would it live up to the expectations? Since I'm sure nobody really wants an in depth analysis of the events that led to the moment of toilet paper truth, I'll skip ahead to say this...this stuff is awesome. Thick? Yup, it's thick. Soft? Yeah, it's soft too. But man is it strong. The quadruple-ply feel means using less sheets and after multiple uses over the past week, not one rippage, breakage, tear or poke-through. (You all know what I'm talking about.) I'm left feeling clean, without being violated in the process. I'm using less of the good stuff too, since it's so thick so one roll is lasting longer than the stuff I used before while my tush is feeling comforted by the soft plush feel. Oh and my wife likes it too. A lot. She got that look of wonder on her face that she does when I do something surprisingly domestic, like pick up the towels off the floor or throw my clothes in the hamper. Win-win, Charmin Ultra Strong, win-win.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first things I noticed was 4 rolls in the package, so it could have a good try & the rolls are a little narrower which i'm not sure what that means. So here goes the test. The test went very well, it seemed soft, didn't need much & didn't seem to tear easily. All 4 rolls have now been used and am pleased with the results. Seemed to hold up well with use. Definitly worth using again when available. Don't let the narrower with get you; It didn't seem to make a difference in use. Will definitly be looking for at the store when available.

The paper is soft and does not rip. It is hard to explain this type of product, but even my children noticed the difference and asked me to buy more. I would buy again!! After placing it on the holder the correct way (over not under) it was put to the test. What more can you say without getting to descriptive but that it did the job. It may be a little rougher than some people may like. One thing that it says on the package is that it is septic safe which is important to me. I noticed that the width of the toilet paper is smaller than another brand that I have in the home. I am not sure if they are saving money this way or why this is the case. Overall this was just another toilet paper not much better or worse than any others.
