The new Ultra Strong Charmin with the deeper embossed floral print is pretty but not near as soft as the Mega Rolls of Ultra Soft Charmin. Softness is the main reason we buy Charmin. I am stocking up on it as Charmin will probably discontinue it. It's plenty strong AND soft. Hope this one will still be available. Think Mr. Whipple!! Softness matters.

There's no annoying ripping of the paper and it's so soft and comfortable. I am definitely going to be buying this as my regular toilet paper from now on.

I always figured TP is TP (unless it's the gas station sand paper) lol. This charmin ultra strong is just that--ultra strong. It is soft, which of course is a must, but it's tough too. The best of both worlds. The really soft kind I have tried before didn't seem to do the job. The kind that did the job wasn't very soft. I will only buy this exact TP from now on. Never ripped, always soft, always did a great job (even good for blowing my nose during my cold) lol. Thanks Charmin for crafting such a great product.

Strong, as it rips perfectly along the perforation and there's virtually no chance of leakage -- and soft as your butt will look forward to the wipe. Trust me.

I was actually using their Ultra Soft type prior to this campaign, which I still prefer over the Ultra Strong. The Ultra Soft is gentler on the bottom but still durable enough. I have used different brands over the years and there is nothing as soft and strong as Charmin. It is easy to find since it is available at every store. The price is not overly expensive but it does cost more than some of the other brands, but you get what you pay for.

I used Scott Extra Soft before this and the sheets would never tear straight across at the perforations, they would leave an ugly half sheet hanging from the roll. And since this paper is thicker than the cheap stuff you don't have to use as much, that makes it a good value. It's definitely worth the price.

There are some things that are okay to buy generic, but when it comes to my derriere I want the best. Charmin has a great reputation for soft, gentle toilet paper, so I was excited to try the Ultra Strong variety. Let me just say, this paper is very strong, but it is also very soft. I don't know how they did it, but Charmin Ultra Strong accomplishes its mission! I was joking with my wife that they should use the old deodorant tagline, "Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman.", but I don't think that is the case. Everyone deserves a little pampering when it comes to their rear. Do yourself a favor, pamper yourself, but at the same time get the strength you need, try Charmin Ultra Strong as soon as you can!

As long as it's not the cheapest single-ply wisp of material, or the pulpy sandpaper horror of middle school bathrooms, it is what it is. This particular one, being allegedly thicker, seems a bit stiffer, but I still find that you'll use the same amount. It's comfortable, but not worth a price premium.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family likes a different brand, but I take exception to its large amount lint which makes the bathroom look like the inside of a dryer lint trap. Then I was asked to try Ultra Strong Charmin, I decided to try it - hoping that it produced less lint than the other brand. Thankfully, the large amounts of dryer-like lint has been eliminated; Charmin Ultra Strong proved to be a great product. On the wiping note this product does a much better job with less, do to the thickness and absorption rate. Two thumbs up.
