The pieces seem almost too thick, but that is certainly a great thing considering what you are using it for. It is comfortable to use and protects your hands. It also feels comfortable to blow you nose if you don't have tissues nearby.

I have to keep telling myself that I do not need to use nearly as much. However, all of that strength and thickness makes it less cushy and soft. As such, I will probably stick with Charmin Ultra Soft instead of Charmin Ultra Strong going forward.

The paper works well and feels softer than my usual generic brand. I usually double my single ply brand, but now I'm using a single sheet after the first, so that's a change. It appears to absorb better and my wife feels it doesn't shred as easily. On the other hand, is it really enough to worry about? How much of a difference is there?. In general they're all pretty close. But it does seem somewhat softer and is a good product.

The Charmin rolls are almost half the weight of my former brand yet lasts longer because you really do use less. I especially liked how cleanly it tears from the roll. Some tp does not tear off easily or smoothly. It's a small thing but it's appreciated.

It helps that there are reviewers out there that are will to take the time to give the public information on their experiences. I hope this review will help you as well in deciding if this product is right for you. Well I have to say that this product does provide a lot of comfort during use. I am actually use to TP like Scott 5000 which is rough and thin. I find the thickness of Charmin to be both good and bad. The reason for this is that while it is thick and requires a smaller amount to be used, it also does not last long and can clog a toilet quite easily. That being the case, you have to be mindful and flush often. I find this very annoying which is why I have used products like Scotts that are thinner and last longer. I also feel as a male that it's easier to not use a softer paper like Charmin, but for females the softness might be more desirable.

My family complained when we tried the switch. The toilet paper is quite sting and does not rip but we found it uncomfortable. I would highly recommend the ultra soft version.

It was used up quicker than the 1000 sheet competitor product that we have always used. It is not at all economical and I will not continue to use the product, not would I recommend it.

They really don't joke around when they say it's 4x less use of your average teepee. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin advertises as being soft and absorbent. This is vital when it comes to the comfort of toilet paper. But is it also strong? The 2-ply sheets are definitely hold up to the stress. I'm actually impressed with the how Charmin Ultra Strong holds up for a 2-ply sheet. First of all, our household never buys anything less than 2-ply unless we are in a dire need. Second, Charmin is a must in this household. We have tried so many other brands and are never satisfied unless it's Charmin. And last, the cost for this product is well worth the comfort and dependability. Charmin has always been the product of choice. Personally, the Ultra Strong just falls below the Ultra Soft version but it's a give an take between the two as indicated by the name: one is soft and one is strong. Now if Charmin can combine the two, they would have the ultimate winner.
