[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I like the charmin Ultra strong toilet paper roll, but there are a few things to know before heading to the store and buying it. First, the roll is smaller than normal TP rolls. This is because it is stronger which should translate into using less squares. However, this wasn't the case when i put it out for my family and Thanksgiving guests. Everyone still used the same amount and the roll ran out faster because there was less. Purchasing this TP will also require re-education of the users to explain to them that they can/should use less since it is stronger. If I were single and therefore could control how much TP is used, then this product may be a good option. Second, my wife used it and was not impressed. She not only noted that there was less and that it went quickly, but that it was rougher than what we usually use. Third, the TP itself is very strong and using less is definitely a possibility. For a man, it is good to use TP that doesn't fall apart in one's hand, especially when using less! Save for the fact that there was less in the roll and it went fast, this is a solid product. All of this earned this product 3 stars!

With that said, I have to say I will probably soon switch our preferred brand of TP to Charmin Ultra Strong. I have used Charmin in the past and while I do enjoy the softness, it always left little pills on my bottom when I wiped. My wife often complained of the same problem. With Ultra Strong, they have solved that pesky pilling problem and have made a fan out of me!

The ultra strong gets the job done in half the sheets needed from my store brand! There is no toilet paper left behind which is uncomfortable and gross! My son has actually learned not to use a whole roll because with the ultra strong he doesn't need it!

My wife doesn't buy it very often because she tends to buy the cheaper and more septic friendly toilet paper. She swears that you use less of it. I love the softness of this. Especially if your sick and going to the bathroom frequently. Who wasn't a to use sand paper on a sore bum?! Not me... I give this product 10 stars out of 5 :-) here's my wife happy with the campaign

Charmin ultra strong is the only toilet paper we use in our home. My spouse says it's the only toilet paper he can trust won't break apart when he needs a wiping most. The toilet paper is effective, soft, reliable, and durable. The larger bags are very easy to store in the bathrooms. Because of how narrow they are standing up on an end, they can sit between a wall and a door, or even between the toilet and a wall.

We all have our preferences when it comes to toilet paper, but absorbency and strength are paramount-- while we all want toilet paper to dissolve quickly in the bowl, we don't want it to break down easily when we're using it. I purchased a pack of Charmin Mega rolls tonight at Walmart. When I got home and started to place them in the bathroom cabinet, I noticed that they were significantly smaller than some at the back of the cabinet that had been there for several months! What gives Charmin? Seems like sort of a cheap move on your part! I'd love to include a photo for comparison if that was possible. But there is no mechanism for that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use Charmin Ultra Soft and have been partial to Ultra Strong. I was open to the Charmin Ultra Strong because I love Charmin. I was surprised that Ultra Strong wasn't as soft as the Ultra Soft. It was quite harsh in finishing. The paper was rough but strong. The Ultra Strong is definitely more durable then the Ultra Soft. The bad part of Ultra Soft is that the tissue leaves a lot of the tissue remnants behind, but because of the strength of the Ultra Strong tissue, this does not happen.

After trying out a few different cheaper kinds I realize how great it really is! It's nice and thick but not too thick to where it's clogging the toilet. It's soft but not too soft to wear it leaves residue behind. So basically it's the best of both worlds in one!

My wife was trying to save us money and had just bought cheap dollar paper, single ply. You would not believe how many times I put my fingers thru that paper. I felt like royalty using charming.
