Much better than the old FoodSaver I have. Easier to use. Doesn't need as much space at the top of the bag (wasted material) compared to the older one I have. Bag lays flat on the counter to allow to use both hands on the unit (the old one I had required holding the bag in place and somehow pushing both sides to create vacuum). So glad I purchased the updated version! Absolutely love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My counter was a mess BUT this was my first time using a foodsaver and not only was it easy, but we were able to use it on a bunch of chicken we bought the day before! I thought the seal would be a lot stronger, but you have to try to open it in order for it to actually open at the seams. It was actually packed really nicely when we got it which I expected since it's a machine, but some places don't do that. It didn't work maybe 2 times of the many attempts, but I genuinely think that was a user error issue. It has a bunch of features but I kept using the same one since it was for the same chicken, so far I love this!!!!

It's small enough to fit in a cabinet for storage but also compact enough to keep on the counter if you decide to do that. I used it to seal some steaks I bought in bulk to put in the freezer, and also used it to seal steaks to sous vide them! Highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This FoodSaver vacuum sealing system is nice and lightweight and I love that there is a cord storage when it's not in use. The packaging was very nice and kept the product secure during shipping. Sealing bags is very easy, but I am having some trouble vacuuming the air from them. Possible user error. There is a manual that comes with the product and goes in depth on how to use. Maybe I just need more practice!
