it was a gift

I use it for school during the day, gaming with my laptop at night, music production for my game dev company on weekends, and I keep a PS5 hooked up on HDMI for quick sessions. It handles all of it without a hiccup. Text is razor sharp at 4K, which makes readings, slides, and long docs easy on the eyes. The 144 Hz refresh with low input lag keeps shooters and racers feeling tight on my laptop, and VRR support smooths out the odd frame drop. Colors are vivid without looking cartoonish, blacks are surprisingly deep for an IPS, and HDR is punchy enough to matter. It is not OLED, yet I never worry about burn-in, and the matte finish keeps glare down in a bright room. For production work, the resolution and clean pixel structure give me room for a full DAW timeline, mixer, and plugins at once. The factory tuning is solid, and after a quick calibration the panel looks consistent across the desk. Build quality is sturdy, the stand has useful adjustments, and the OSD is quick to navigate. HDMI 2.1 lets the PS5 push 4K at high refresh in supported titles, and swapping inputs is instant. Fan noise is nonexistent, heat is minimal, and the wake behavior is reliable. After months of mixed use, the G7 has been a problem-free anchor for my setup. If you want a single 4K monitor that does everything well, this is it.

Had it for not even 2 weeks and I get a black screen out of no where while I was doing some work trainings at home it just randomly went black did some research apparently it's common with these monitors funny thing is that it's not even what I ordered but it's what Walmart gave me was disappointed when a different monitor showed up at my door step but figured hey I'll give it a try it has great specs and I love Samsungs tv's NEVER AGAIN I'm so frustrated about this I tried everything to fix it and nothing smh and I take care of my electronics and I have it table mounted and I shut it off every night before bed so idk why this happened AVOID THIS MONITOR

The monitor is fine, as most monitors are, but that blinding blinking blue light is the most obnoxious thing I've ever seen. Yes I've found the power light setting in the menu, but it still blinks nonstop if the monitor is on and the computer goes to sleep or just blanks the display, as most do instead of a screensaver because it's 2025. I'd honestly return it over this if it hadn't just come free with my G95C Super Ultrawide

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I bought this monitor i use it to play in my ps5 and also to watch Netflix, youtube, and many other things buying this monitor is one of the best things that has ever happened to me, before buying this monitor I wasn't going through a great situation in my life, I had a lot of problems to solve at home and I felt so empty because at that time I had almost nothing in my room I slept on the floor because I didn't have a bed but in those days thank god I had already found a job and I had that joy that I was going to be able to save money and buy the things I had always wanted since I was a little boy, everything happened little by little first I bought my bed as I had planned I bought all the things I had always wanted and to conclude my happiness I remembered the times when I was little and I only watched gameplays on youtube about games and everyone had a monitor to get the most out of the gaming experience, and from there I decided that I was going to fulfill the dream of that poor child who always wanted to have his own set of games to play and have fun, I bought the ps5 and combined it with the best technology in the world which is samsung I bought my odyssey g7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey G7 28” has exceeded my expectations. The 4K UHD display is sharp and vibrant, with excellent color accuracy and contrast. Gaming feels incredibly smooth thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate and low input lag, making it ideal for competitive play. I also appreciate the slim design, sturdy stand, and wide range of connectivity options, which make it very versatile for both work and entertainment. Even during long sessions, the Eye Saver mode helps reduce eye strain, which is a big plus. Overall, this monitor delivers top performance for gaming, streaming, and productivity. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality and smooth gameplay.

Grainy and not the quality it advertised. Doesn't feel fast and not a noticeable difference in speed while gaming. Normally when I go from a big screen tv to a quality gaming monitor I can feel the difference. Not this one. If anything my tv was a better gaming experience with better colors and quality picture. The look of the monitor and curve is nice and it seems durable and the stand is sturdy so that's good. It's an alright cheap option but I feel like if it was full price and not $180 like I got it for it's not worth it at all. Go with a better quality option if it's not on sale. Don't expect much from this monitor. Im surprised Samsung put out something so weak. Also it doesn't have a quality hdmi port

The monitor itself is a 5/5, the stand is very cheapy, and not really adjustable so 2/5, and the Display Port cord exploded on me on day one so 0/5. so if you use that cord like I do buy a better quality one for it. the one it comes with is very cheap plastic and breaks easily. If not for the cheap plastic unadjustable stand, and the exploding cord id have given the full 5 stars. Wall mount this and use your own data port cord and you will be golden.

Samsung Odyssey G55C QHD (1440p) 165hz has a better curvature than my last monitor. The blue light is minimal. Gaming it is extremely impressive, getting 130 fps on Cyberpunk 2077 out of the full 165 fps. Mostly due to PC hardware limitations. Response time feels almost instant. It is insanely fast response time. I love the HDR 10 in active mode. It also has features like frame sync, response adjustment, various picture adjustments, Amazing quality and is on sale right now. LED Monitor. It is absolutely enormous though. Like yeah I like the 27" but the depth is huge. Understandably so with all the tech in it.

It was ok for a bit then I realized how washed out the graphics were and the sharpness isn't there side by side my previous monitor looks like it's 4k compared to this at the same resolution it's blurry and I'm not sure why if you don't mind that go for it but you can find better
