I originally purchased this almost a year ago and it worked great until about a month ago when motor started to make a burning smell. I returned that unit and received a new one. I have used the new one 2 times and it is not freezing my drinks when I try to make slushy drinks. It is still runny even when I adjust the temperature. I'm frustrated with this product. I've had two of them and problems with both.

This is my 4th one that I have bought. I love mine so much I decided to buy one for my niece, my eldest daughter, and my other daughter for Christmas. I'm a Ninja fan for sure. I gave it 4 stars because it's hard to clean the crevice. But I still love mine!

Had it a week. Patiently tried margarita's premixed and never could get them any thing more than extremely cold. Troubleshooting hints said too much alchohol or sugar. I doubt a premixed bottle of margarita is going to have excess alchohol but watered it down 20-30% and still no slush. 3 cans of Dr Pepper. No alchohol. Still no freeze. If this is too much sugar, I need a different machine. Sending it back

MOLD!!! The canister will develop a mold after a time that is unreachable to remove. I love the slushes this produces, but I can't feed my friends & family dangerous mold along with the tasty treat. This is a serious design flaw that needs corrected. Liability should be a concern with the company.

I have a bunch of NINJA products. My wife laughed when I sent her the picture of the slushi machine and wanted to know if I ordered it yet. Yes honey, yes I did, and she loves it! Huge win again for Ninja. I have put several drink mixers through the machine and it does great. One thing I noticed was if I cut back on the liquor in the mix and just topped the drink with a shot, it will freeze much faster, plus you get the hit of the booze on top.

I don't think this was worth the price and it was short of my expectations. Cons: - I am disappointed about the serving capacity. The capacity is exactly the same as my Ninja blender which is 64 oz. Depending on your desired serving sizes, you can only make the following; two slushies at 32 oz, four slushies at 16 oz., & eight slushies at 8 oz. I think the price would've been worth it if the capacity were doubled to 128 oz. - The machine has temperature issues. The preset settings temperatures for frappes and slushies are not correct or consistent. I have to lower the temperature to make sure it freezes properly. For example, every time I select slushy it doesn't freeze unless I lower the temperature way lower than the preset default temperature. - Not a great machine for Frappuccinos. If you're using milk in your Frappuccino recipe, then the machine will basically ruin the texture by making the drink frothy. I haven't tried using a recipe with a powdered Frappuccino mixture yet so I can't comment on it but it may work if you use it. Pro's: - Other than the temperature setting issues, it works. It's a little loud but it keeps the temperature cold and mixture ready to pour. - Design of function is simple and sleek. - Easy to clean however if you use milk in the recipe it's harder to get clean so wash it immediately. In summary, I wish I did not buy this product because of the capacity of only 64 oz. If it were 128 oz capacity I think it would be worth it. I think just using my Ninja blender which has the same capacity of 64 oz would have sufficed for my needs.

I saw this machine all over TikTok, however, there had to be 4 ounces of sugar. Of course, as a diabetic, we have to shy away from sugar, I did some research and found RXSUGAR, that does not affect my glucose numbers. Popping in a couple tablespoons of the RXSUGAR doesn't really affect the taste of the frozen drinks at all, 10 out of 10 absolutely recommend. My favorite product from ninja thus far. Using the RXSUGAR to slush my ninja thirsty products and add my alcohol of choice is amazing. Get the product even if you're a diabetic use that RXSUGAR and you're good to go. I recommend Baja Bob's sugarfree margarita mixes, the strawberry daiquiri is amazing.

This machine has forever changed the way we entertain! We've had the Ninja Slushie for just over a week now and have used it every single day- it's just so much fun. It's simple enough for the kids to use, and they enjoy coming up with creative recipes to try out. I enjoy making frappes in the morning (goodbye Dunkin' Donuts), and our favorite drink - frozen wine slushies to wind down at the end of the day. We pulled this bad boy out at a recent bbq and it really stole the show. Not to mention it's super easy to use and clean. It's very quiet and I love that you can just keep it going pretty much all day, so the frozen drinks keep flowing! Just buy it!!

I misjudged the size of this machine. Its too large too heavy for a normal sized home kitchen. It was so heavy and cumbersome i never bother to test it, returned. The other thing that influenced my decision was there was not full disclosure on the site that everything must contain sugar.
