This slushie machine is the perfect appliance to make restaurant and bar like drinks. I've made frappes, fruit juice slush, soda slush, and ice cream and the texture of each type has been perfect. Recipe guide and user manual make it really easy to follow the recipes and operate the unit. Cleaning is easy just rinse with water and soap. However, I will have to take off one star due to a design flaw and staining of the vessel. Please see the li tired below. In the back of the vessel at the very edge of it there is a small opening (small enough you can barely get a finger nail past it) that can lead to residue getting built up and stuck. It almost impossible to clean it without breaking the vessel. I will have to hope that exposure to soap and war water eventually loosens it. Lastly, I made a Mango slush (just from mango juice) and it stained my vessel. Other than these two flaws the Ninja Slushie has operated to perfection.

This would be perfect for us, except that you can't make slushies with diet drinks, or drinks that use sugar substitutes. It's not Ninja's fault, as sugar is apparently needed to freeze the drinks, I just wish that they made that information a little bit easier to find, rather than hiding it in the FAQs.

Would love to have a positive review but unfortunately I do not. Bought the ninja slushi and the first unit would not freeze anything or even get that cold. I called Ninja and they sent me a new one. The new one has the same issues. It would be a great product if it worked. Think they need to upsize the condenser or something to make it function the way it should. Will not be getting another replacement.

I have only use the machine once but I must say I love it so far, all my guests were impressed!

Absolutely love it! It works so well and makes great beverages for adults and kiddos!

Best thing ever invented!! Slushies come out perfect! Kids love it

I've tried to make a spike slushie and 2 times to make a rose' slushie and was never successful
