Perfect (for my needs)!

It's super important to understand what the Cirqa is and how it will fit into your health/fitness journey. My smart watch is from another large tech company and I still wear it. I got into the Garmin ecosystem with the Edge bike computer. That turned into a HRM, the Garmin scale and BPM. I wanted to track all of the other things Garmin offered, so I got a Vivosmart 5 and have worn that for a few years. When the Cirqa came out, I was super happy it see it had training readiness, HRV, and a ton of activities that the Vivosmart didn't track. I ordered the Cirqa the second I could. I have been extremely happy with what it does. I have it set up to track my walks with one button push, use it as a HRM on my indoor trainer, and I am super happy with the metrics it gathers. I have no problem with the sleep- it tracks it well. I don't care that it's an older sensor- I don't need EKG. My only complaint and this is really on me- the S/M band doesn't fit my average wrist like I would expect. I need to size up. This is a great screen less tracker and I am super impressed with it.

Disappointed, hoping updates can fix issues

Very disappointed with the product - a first for a Garmin purchase, particularly a new release. Pros: First off, it does most of what it advertises. It is a wearable that tracks key metrics and workouts at a high level. Cons: It does not do this well in my opinion and doesn't accomplish the need I had for it, which was replace my Forerunner as a daily wearable so I could track my day-to-day metrics without tying myself to the watch as a 24/7 wearable. 1. Workouts - The Cirqa was advertised as being compatible with coach plans and I thought I'd be able to start a workout from the app while wearing the cirqa and follow the workout step-by-step, entering sets and reps as I complete them, just as I do on my Forerunner. That was not the case, although, again, it was advertised as such. Garmin support half helped me on this, heard me out, essentially agreed it's an issue not working as advertised, told me they submitted a ticket, and disconnected the session. I never got an email or follow-up; the first time I've been let down by their support. I should not be reaching out to a company like Garmin with their high quality products and attention to detail and getting an answer of basically "yeah that's weird, not sure" 2. Hardware: The Cirqa is pretty bulky and the strap wasn't executed well. It isn't very water resistant and is a hair magnet. Just doesn't feel comfortable to wear at all. The nylon band on the Apple Watch is comfortable and does a great job at not retaining water. 3. Sleep and day-to-day - I'm not sure what the sensor logic is, but it never knows when I go to sleep or when I wake up. On my watch I can end sleep either automatically or press of a button. With the Cirqa, I can be awake, up, moving around, and my sleep data doesn't populate on the Connect app after syncing until it decides it's ready to. I think all of this can be fixed but it feels like they shipped a half-baked product.

Great value

I really like the band. I have always used my Garmin watch as my primary fitness tracker so I had to wear it all the time. Now I use the Cirqa as my primary device and I can wear my Tag watch when I want to wear some bling. This is a much better value than the Whoop subscription plan and you get the same data.

Underwhelming

Could be a perfect compliment to my other Garmin products... but is not. I'd love if it seamlessly picked up where my current Fenix left off when I swap which one I'm wearing. But it doesn't. "Primary wearable" logic is flawed, only the primary will calculate into body battery. I want all the features of my Fenix without the watch face, as it stands this is an ok step counter.

Great pairing with Fenix8

Generally love it. As an avid fenix 8 pro wearer and triathlete and distance runner. Switched it to my daily wearable for sleep and work (no notifications is great). Keeps all my garmin data and sync is generally very good. Things that can be improved: the ability to swap device seamlessly between devices (sometimes the CIRCA needs a restart to turn the sensor back on), and adding gps would be epic.

Love the Cirqa band!

I love the Cora band. I have been using a Garmin watch for many years now for all my activities. From running and biking to obstacle course racing and triathlons. I've also tried “other” similar bands, which will remain nameless if you know what o mean? And I much prefer the Cirqa. All the same in depth information you come to expect with Garmin and far more lightweight and comfortable. I had to check a few times to make sure it was still there I barely felt it on.

Cirqa as primary sleep wearable

I wish there was capability to designate primary sleep wearable. I have many Garmin wearables and it's silly that I have to switch which wearable I'm using that day or night as my primary device. The cirqa should default to sleep unless a watch is detected. But I bought the cirqa for its size and weight while sleeping. A watch while sleeping is clunky.

Not ready for prime time…

Good idea but so far software / hardware bugs have tainted the experience. Alarms don't work, have to shutoff/turn back on device after a charge, poor recognition of activities, and poor battery life. Example: Using device only in the evenings/night with pulse ox on only during sleep and I get 4 to 5 days between charges. Not good…. Great product for my use case (supplement for forerunner965) but to date the device is not living up to my expectations nor Garmin's own specifications. At least not yet - really looking forward to a software update. This update's performance will indicate what I do next with the Cirqa. 🙏🏻

Doesn't work for side sleepers

Zero issues with whoop with two years of use. Wanted all my data and devices synced on one app though, so Cirqa made logical sense. But it is an overpriced vibrating alarm. Poor data and spotty sleep. It hasn't recorded sleep in a few days for me and all my training data is tanking. Garmin support advised me that is doesn't work well if you're a side sleeper and sleep on the same side as the band. I rotate back and forth all night so I guess neither wrist would work.

Still on the fence

I've had mixed experiences so far. Auto-detection for cycling is hit or miss — sometimes it picks up my ride automatically, sometimes it doesn't register at all. For running, the only metric I can see is heart rate, which is disappointing — I'd really like pace and speed to show up on the app too. I also tried using the elliptical tracking feature, and it just stopped working partway through the workout for no clear reason. Overall the core idea is solid, but there are enough bugs and inconsistencies right now that I can't fully recommend it yet. Hoping future updates iron these out.
