Well built, very sturdy and stable. I checked many vendors and none came close in quality and value.

I liked my previous Member's Mark rack enough to buy another, and this new one has been a great addition to my garage. Having everything organized and easy to reach makes a big difference. The listing mentions higher-strength steel with a thinner gauge, and having owned both versions, I've been very pleased with how the new one performs. Mine is loaded with heavy tool totes, power tools, and garage equipment, and it feels solid and sturdy with everything loaded. There's plenty of room for bulky items, and the gauge change hasn't been an issue for my storage needs. This is a substantial rack that puts a lot of storage space to good use. Great quality, excellent value, and an easy five stars from me. I'd gladly buy it again!

Good for the money…heavy duty and sturdy. Easy to put together. However, I received this with a bit of damage from shipping which made using the holes near the damage next to impossible. Thankfully i didn't need to use those holes and overall the damage was minimal. I can see the frustration from other reviews because anymore damage, the shelf would be garbage. It would probably last a long time if you never had to move it but i doubt it would hold up if it had to be moved any number of times.

Its cheap metal with bad welds. For a similar price, you can buy one from Sams competitor, that's made of a stronger steel and will outlast this rack by years. The metal on this is so thin, i could literally flex the tower beam just by squeezing it with my hand.

They updated this rack. The old ones were thicker metal. The only good thing is the pins for the shelves are much different. Fed Ex threw it in my driveway and bent the who side of the one frame. 3 hours later after hammering it to make it work, I am not sure this one will last. I am sad because the last 3 I bought were great quality.

Poor fitting, made the assembly difficult. The steel had a slight twist and didn't allow the cross braces to properly align. The steel was lighter and less quality than ones I had previously purchased from Sam's. The price was less than Home Depot but the quality was much lower. Would not recommend.

I would give this zero stars if I could. As with other reviewers, I had previously purchased two units of this exact item at the Evansville, IN store, which is a 3 hour round trip from my home. One of the units went together perfectly, the other had a small alignment issue but we were able to fix it and get the shelf together. On Sept 7th. I purchased two more at the Evansville, IN store. Both boxes showed no damage on the outside, we carefully loaded them at the store and unloaded them at home. Once we opened the first box, one of the uprights was so bent and warped that it was completely unusable. ALL of the packaging, bubble wrap, etc was intact with no signs of damage. This had to have come from the factory this way -- zero quality control. Upon calling Sam's customer service to request a replacement under warranty, I was instructed that I would have to load this back up and drive it back to the Sam's Club I purchased it from -- again, a 3 hour round trip -- to exchange it for a new one. The package is not able to be opened without cutting around the top, and I cannot get anyone from the Sam's Club in Evansville to answer the phone so I can verify that they will accept the package back cut open as it is. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere due to the poor warranty service and the obvious quality control issues.

We have purchased several of these units over the years. Recently 09/26 needed more for our inventory room and purchased five. FYI....These are not made from the same ga steel as the previous ones. They are much thinner material, and very flimsy, and easy to bend. Do not have them shipped, they will mostly likely get bent all up by FedEx. Very disappointed with the cheap flimsy quality of these new ones, nothing like the previous units.

I purchased two of these a few months ago with no issue. However I recently (October 2026) attempted to purchase a third and when I got home one of the side frame was completely twisted and unusable, had to make the 30 minute drive back down to Sam's to switch it out. Got home and the replacement item had almost the exact issue. One of the side frames was bent and unusable, there was also a ton of paint peeling off all the pieces. I suspect this is just a bad batch that was shipped out nationwide or these are all returns that have been repackaged. Regardless I would hold off buying, or if you do inspect in the parking lot before you take it home. Now I have to make the third trip back, this time I'm just going to get a refund.

Ordered 2 of these units. Both arrived damaged. Put in for a replacement but can be replaced. So I have to bring them back to my home and repackage both back up and and FedEx has pick them back up. They each weigh 125lbs. Super dissatisfied with this purchase and return process. Too heavy to be doing all this to have to ship back. I should be just getting my $ back. And keeping the damaged products. Not worth the hassle.
