I am a type one diabetic searching for a new watch capable of accommodating my busy lifestyle and displaying my blood sugar readings on the watch face. After extensive research into various watches, I selected the Vivoactive 6 for its comprehensive features, and I anticipate it will be a long-term companion. The watch is impressive with all its technological advancements, and the golf feature is particularly innovative.

I upgraded from the Fitbit Sense 2 to this watch and I could not be happier. I love the stats and how customizable it is, I also like how it looks. I am a runner with a very energetic dog - he likes to stop all the time and then run intervals - and this watch doesn't shame me for slow overall times, it shows run, walk, and stops so I have an idea of how I'm doing and how much time I spend stopped for him.

I actually won my watch and I was an Apple Watch wearer. I decided to give it a try. I love the battery life, and it does everything my other watch does. It still connects to my Apple phone…receives messages, phone calls, and gives great details from sleep to tracking exercise! I am still figuring out all of the features! So, I give this watch five stars!!!

I traded in my old Vivoactive 4s due to obsolete software issues. The Vivoactive 6s has way more options and it is easier to navigate the different features. However, I still think the device requires you to be technogically savvy, but overall I am happy with the update workout stats after each workout.

I bought this 3 weeks ago in order to replace my fitbit which had aged out. It took some getting used to as the step counter is not as sensitive as the fitbit which counts your every move. I've had to work a lot harder to get my 10 thousand steps in a day! There's also something called a Body Battery which I have yet to figure out. There's a lot more to this watch than I thought.

The last month has been amazing! The Vivoactive6 is great. I am capturing my stats and it is giving me the motivation make better health choices. I especially love the ease of adding my hydration. I work as a scrub and circulating nurse in the operating room. My work environment is dry with limited break time. I am chronically dehydrated. Now I am able to track my consumption and meet my goals. I am capturing my steps which allow me to increase as needed. I am capturing my Pilates, biking, and walking. The sleep function is an eye opener. Now I can really see what is happening at night. Everything about my V6 is easy, fun and motivating. I also love that I can easily change my band to match my activity. Work-stretch to wear on my upper forearm. A cute rose one for fashion. The factory default when I am doing other activities. Love Love Love it all!

Made the swap from my apple watch to the vivoactive 6 and I do not regret it at all!! I love it so much. The details on every activity you log and the amount of info it provides is the best. I bought it mainly to keep track of my weightlifting at the gym and my runs. It also helps me to stay more motivated in hitting my steps or having a little break when I'm not moving as much. I do not ever take it off! Best purchased I've made in quite a while. Definitely recommend it if you are someone interested in health and fitness.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I am overall impressed. The health and fitness trackings have been so useful throughout my days as I can track my heart rate, stress, steps, and after each night I can see how good my sleep was. I love working out with this watch as well! The automatic set detection works well with arm movement, but as expected not the greatest at counting reps/sets when it's leg day. But adjusting my sets and reps is soo easy so it's not too much of a problem. My only complaint is that I do not like the plastic look!! I had switched out the Lily Active with this because the Vivoactive 6 has way more features. But concerning the aesthetics of this watch, I'm not a fan of it. I wish it was metal all round because it lowkey looks cheap. But the features of the watch makes up for the looks.

I purchased the Vivoactive 6 to replace a very old Vivoactive 4. For me, as a user of an older model, the 6 is a case of one step forward, two steps back. The main plus of the 6 is the crisp, vibrant color display. There are also a few interesting new features, like a compass in the hiking app. They're nice, and I can see they could be potentially useful, but I doubt I'll really need them. However, for me, the added features are outweighed by the drawbacks. First, there's the size. The watch face is smaller than the 4. This means all the added features, while colorful, are more difficult to use. It also means that if you have standard straps which fit most models, they won't be usable on the Vivoactive 6. But the biggest drawback for me is the wallet. I purchased the 6 instead of a larger, slightly cheaper competitor specifically because I didn't want to lose the wallet feature. However, while the wallet was always a simple swipe away on the Vivoactive 4, it's now buried deep in a submenu on the 6. It's much less convenient, and now you can't even use the wallet if you're running an app. It's not unusual for me to stop during a bike ride to pick up a post-ride snack. It was so convenient to pay using the wallet even though the tracker was running. Now, that's not possible. It's a huge downside and makes me question my continued loyalty to Garmin.
