I bought this 3 weeks ago in order to replace my fitbit which had aged out. It took some getting used to as the step counter is not as sensitive as the fitbit which counts your every move. I've had to work a lot harder to get my 10 thousand steps in a day! There's also something called a Body Battery which I have yet to figure out. There's a lot more to this watch than I thought.

Replaced my Vivoactive 4 with a 6. First 6's crystal developed multiple craze cracks in the crystal after 3 days and normal wear. Garmin stood behind its product and replaced it. 5 days later my new Vivoactive 6 developed a small crack at the 5 o'clock position. I was hard on my Vivoactive 4 for 4 years and never had an issue. Love the new features on the 6. Durability or quality control issues concern me. No abuse on my part. Normal wear and tear. Disappointed.

I have been wearing the watch for about a month now and really like it. I bought it as a replacement for my vivioactive 4. My only complaint is the watch face options. I like a minimalistic watch but most of the options that are minimalistic cost money. Like the only thing I want to see is time, date(day/month), and watch battery. The custom watch face option is cool but after I pick the things I want to see it places them in odd locations so spacing is weird.

I had a previous version (vivoactive 4s) and really liked it. With certain upgrades, I decided to go with this newer version. While there were some differences that took a bit to get used to, I am loving the new one! The sleep tracking is so much better, and it is more in tune to my daily life. I'm by no means a serious athlete, so I'm more interested in the day-to-day stuff, and this delivers!

This is my third Garmin Vivoactive. I believe I have been wearing them for 10-15 years; the first ones battery wouldn't last as long as I led after several years of triathlons and marathons and the second one quit tracking several things after I dropped it and cracked the crystal. The new one has many new features I like including it is quite light, tracks naps (which us old guys take from time to time), and the face is much more attractive. I don't know if there are other options for the face on this one because I like just the way it came out of the box. It works great and though I have had it for 2-3 weeks, I have only charged it once.

Everything works great on this watch, with a lot of great upgrades from my old watch. The screen is big and clear and easy to read. The GPS sync is very fast! Definitely worth the purchase price. The only thing that doesn't work as well as my old one is the stair climb function. My old one was very good at sensing elevation changes, the new one doesn't measure that at all when not using the GPS.

I replaced my vivoactive4 with the 6 and it is a great improvement. It is more accurate in tracking my reps during strength training. The GPS kicks in almost immediatly after acticvation where as the 4 made me wait up to several minutes before it activated. Great up grade!

I was very happy with the level of technology this watch contains until I realized that being 77 years old I had difficulty with the learning process. After many hours watching videos and phone calls I am almost there. The 5 stars are for the younger folks who have a better understanding of technology…Hippie Bob

I upgraded from the vivoactive 4 to this watch about a month ago. My older version wasn't keeping a charge long enough and was not up to date with the latest features. This watch is much sleeker in its design and has all the features I wanted with a battery that lasts a good long time. I am finding it's a bit more complicated to use, but there is always a learning curve with a new watch.

I bought the watch for golf. When it worked it was fine. However I only got it to work one time out of 7 times. It is now locked and I am not going to research it to unlock the watch. I plan on taking it back. There are many functions besides golf that I am not interested in.
