My husband's employer uses this to check temps before work. We needed a new one and well they are in short supply right now so I was happy to find this in store. Hardest part was finding a worker to open the case.

I had seen these written up in an article and bought one. With all that's going on now, I bought more, one for our son and daughter and one for my mother! They are great, easy to use and pretty accurate!

Wanted American made. Wish the display was on the opposite side to view while taking. Also Wish it color changed -green, yellow, red. For the price, it could be improved.

How to use: Make sure its turned off, then press and hold the main button and scan it across your forehead. It beeps when it touches your artery/is reading your temp. I'm confused why this has bad reviews when it literally beeps when its in the correct spot. I tried it on both sides of my forehead, and it was within 0.3 of a degree throughout the 12 trials I did.

Do not believe the claim of "most accurate." I used this product 10 times doing what was said correctly to take temperature and got consistently low readings that were not accurate whatsoever (98.0 or below). Additionally, the battery cover will not come off once the battery drains. I would not recommend it and save your money.

I hate this thermometer. When I need to use it in the night or on a crying child, the stupid memory function just makes it way more complicated than I want. If I can even get it to scan I never know if I'm seeming the temperature I just took or one from 3 months ago. Half the time I just see the memory display settings of 1 through 7. Plus everything is controlled by one button, so it's easy to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit when you don't mean to. Just threw mine in the garbage and am ordering a $5 digital one.

Works great every time. Fast readout, I checked it against an old school thermometer (old nurse here who is not always so trusting of all the new gadgets). It was always either spot on or one tenth off (like 97.1 vs 97.2). I trust it's readings. The speed too will be valuable when you have cranky sick baby or child. I bought a second one for my niece who was expecting.

This was a pretty expensive thermometer. There were claims that it was medical/hospital graded. I followed every indtruction to a T, and it wouldn't work. Finally, I managed to get it to work, and took my niece's temp., who had an active fever, the thermometer read 97.2. Ive tried everything, this thermometer is just junk. I do not recommend it whatsoever.

Quick and easy. More accurate than my under-the-tongue thermometer I got from Walmart and as accurate as my under-the-tongue thermometer from Walgreens years ago that's dying now. More than one person in the house can use it since it's not going in the mouth. I was a little hesitant about it at first but I went to a doctor appointment and they were using this exact same one (which they had to pay a premium for on eBay because they couldn't find it elsewhere). I asked why they chose this and what they thought about it, so that made up my mind.
