NEVER provided a correct temperature

Could not get this to work right no matter how I tried it.

The reading on the thermometer are incredibly off!! It always reads super low 95 range even when you have a fever. Do not buy this product!!

Completely different readings from another thermometer I use, which has proved reliable over the years.

I liked that gets the reading very fast. It took us a few tries to get used to it and get a more repeated measurement, if you don't pass this meter by the temporal artery you'll not get a very accurate reading, however, you get used quick to do a good swipe and get accurate measurement.

Works great, just make sure you don't drag the sensor across the wrong part of your head! One day, I thought it needed a new battery, then discovered I forgot to take the cover off. So, I really was only 90 degrees. Easiest way to take your own temperature is to look in the mirror. It is not contactless, so it's best to keep it to those in your household. Seems to be quite accurate, and the price is good for something like this!

We like the thermometer itself very much; however, we are not sure we got a new item. We can't find anything about the thermometer coming with a battery, but there was one in the unit when we opened the package. So overall, we'll say it's an excellent unit, but we have some concerns over whether a used unit may have been sold as new.
