For close to 5 years i had the Vivoactive 4. this watch came in two sizes, the 4 and the 4s. unfortunately the 6 only comes in 1 size and its smaller than the 4 that i had. additionally, the 4 and the 5 both have a barometric altometer which is used for counting floors, however the 6 just doesnt have it. so now there is no credit given for floors/flights earned. how do we go from having features on prior models and just simply not include them on a newer model? very disappointed.

I'm an active user, working out 3 times or more a week. I've had both an Apple watch and a Fitbit. The heart rate is my primary feature with GPS tracking secondary. This watch does both accurately and I don't need to recharge it twice a day or have it go dead in the middle of a trail. That said, getting up to speed on how to use the Garmin was far from easy. I was disappointed that I had to manually enter the profiles for each type of activity.

I made the switch from an iwatch because I wanted a round faced watch. The Garmin vivoactive 6 does almost everything the iwatch did. Since I have an iphone I cannot respond to a text or answer a phone call from the Garmin, but that is not a deal breaker for me. I almost always have the phone near by so it isn't a big deal to grab the phone and answer. I love the graphics and ease of use. I am not a big exerciser, but I do like to track my walks and bike rides. I can still interface the into with Strava so my friends can see my progress. You can also customize the face and what you want to see on the watch face. I love the green color, too. I highly recommend the Garmin Vivoactive 6!

After 2 weeks of use I've found it to be no more useful than my iPhone for tracking activity. The sleep score is ok but not as sensitive or insightful as I had hoped . The interface takes a lot to interpret. The swimming function is useless because the watchface doest't respond when my fingers are colder. If you don't have a smart phone then this might be a useful tool

I've had my Vivioactive 6 watch for about a month now and I'm impressed with the battery life. And, there are a lot of features that I'm still learning about. I like the lock screen feature when I'm exercising as it keeps the screen from continuing scrolling.

Excellent watch. Very comfy and tracks everything you can think of. I use it for making custom workouts and tracking my sleep. I also use it for tracking my vitals while snowboarding and mtb. Theres so much more you can do with it. Anyone could enjoy this watch. Battery life is over 5 days for me.

I have had a number of fitness tracking watches over the years, and the Garmin vivoactive 6 is fantastic. Why? Battery life. The Garmin simply last (by comparison to others) forever. A full week is not unusual. The watch offers great data, a slim profile, and spectacular Battery life

I'm loving this watch. I love the bright colors, the ability to change your watch face to your liking as well as colors within the face. The buttons on the side are a bit different than my previous Fitbit watch so that was a bit of an adjustment that I'm still getting used to. The clarity of graphics is great. My amazon wish list items come up with great clarity on the screen. My big disappointment is that there is no voice to text on this watch. One would think that would be a "normal" finding on any smart watch in 2025. Please fix this if possible! Overall, very happy, just wish I would've seen that there was no microphone for voice to text before I purchased.

I am loving the features on my Garmin Vivoactive, but im a little disappointed in the battery life. I was expecting to get at least 5 days with it as it is advertised up to 11 days, but it only lasts 3-4 days at the most. I do use it a lot, but not to the extent of draining it so fast. Overall though, great watch to have for keeping track of your workouts/walks/run. I'd definitely buy again as it is worth it and is very comfortable and not too bulky.

I bought this almost a month ago. I replaced my Instinct but so far my old instinct was still a better watch. Based on my research this watch should have had many of the same features but sadly doesn't. I should have stuck with a new instinct or just switched to an Apple Watch. The positive is being able to download new watch faces. The downside most of the watch faces glitch and don't work properly. When I do an activity the screen will go completely blank and is a struggle to get it to come back up.
