The pot has measurements etched along the inside to assist with recipes and I read that it is oven safe though I haven't tried it myself. Perfect size for a whole chicken and making homemade broth as well. It's versatile and one of the most used in my kitchen.

One thing to to keep in mind is make sure the oil and pan is hot before cooking food. Make sure food is at room temperature. Real easy to clean, a plus if you cook a lot.

The pot has dual-riveted handles allowing for a firm grip on it. The tempered glass lid helps to lock in heat. The pot is oven safe to 500°F without lid, 350°F with lid.

The stainless steel is great for even heating and you don't have to worry about any toxins. The pot is great quality that feels it will last forever.
