It was a lot of work to assemble. Me and my wife did all of the assembly. We stained and sealed it. I hired some help to lift the roof up. I am 68 and my wife is 64. We took our time and got her done. I think if I were to do it again I would have it assembled.

Bought this from Sam’s Club a few months ago to put on our back patio. The size is perfect. The quality of the wood and the engineering is outstanding. It’s not a simple assembly, but if you’re familiar with hand tools and have a friend or 2, it can be done in a day or two.

We purchased our Cordova Gazebo almost a year ago and it truly has sustained our Colorado winds, our most recent winter heavy snow. Even our most recent heavy rains without any problems at all. It was absolutely one of our better purchases and wish we had purchased it sooner. My husband Rick, our son and our neighbor all helped with putting the roof on as it did need 3 people. The lower part of 4 posts and sides my husband pretty much did it himself with an extra ladder. He’s very creative! So the roof was the part that did require the assistance of a few more hands. We enjoy using our new outdoor space for many outside events in our yard day or night. It looks beautiful. We did hang lights for sitting outside in our cool Colorado evenings. My husband and I enjoy just sitting under it in the morning drinking our coffee. My sister and her husband were so impressed with our Gazebo that they are ordering one for themselves. So we would highly recommend this purchase to anyone considering purchasing or having one built. It is a great price, quality is 5 star.

Not going to lie-this thing is a beast to out together. The directions could be a tad clearer for the average person. There are very specific ways to attach things and if anything is backwards it’ll mess up the whole thing. We ended up having to drill a few additional holes to assemble the roof panels. It’s not perfect, but it’s sturdy and looks great! Take your time and have 2-3 people to help. :)

We purchased and assembled last summer. Very nice structure. Assembly was not the easiest but the instructions were clear and easy to read. Would recommend having several tall, strong people for assembly. Especially to lift the roof pieces into place.

The Directions were in two languages, the important one for me being "English"! It took three men to perform the roof install as you needed to be about %' 10" or taller. I am a semi professional modeler and am used to hard to follow Building directions...these we hard to follow. Study the pictures very closely, every little detail tells a story of assembly. It helps if more than one person look at the directions. But we figured it out! The attached picture shows the final outta the box Gazebo! I put Clear Large Christmas Lights around the inside roof edge for subdued night lighting and it looks great! Am going to buy for set of "magnetic screening" panels that can be let down or tied back to control breeze and some direct sunlight as well as bugs. I recommend a good buy. If the directions were more clear it woulda been a "Five Star" product!

My wife and her friend saw this gazebo at Sams Warehouse for $1600. Price was right so we ordered it right away. They let us know that Sams had ordered 6 of these and wasnt expected to come in for quite a while. So I got on to the internet to find it somewhere else. Now when I was doing this it was right before Mothers Day and this was going to be perfect for her in the backyard. In my search i found this same gazebo on your website Backyard Discovery. But at a substantually higher cost $2400. My wife didnt like it but I ordered it anyway knowing it was going to be here the following week. . Timing was perfect for her Mothers Day. I bought it and our sons came to put it together on Mothers Day. I have to say this kit was really well thought out. the instructions were so easy to follow. Even for this dum truckdriver. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very satisfied with the quality. Don’t be intimidated. All parts are very well marked and organized. My husband put it all together by himself. Only needed a second pair of hands at the very end to put on patio. Would buy again and again. Great price!

Great kit. All items were unpacked, sorted, and stacked for ease of finding/using when called for in the directions. The best part was the individual bags of screws, bolts, nuts, etc. that were easy to find once sorted and placed on a table for ease in finding when needed. The hardest part was pouring the concrete footers to ensure a solid anchoring of the assembly. Assembling the frame was simple and made it easy to pre-place at the footer locations to ensure everything was in its proper place. Once placed and temporarily anchored, the assembly of the roof panels was simple. You will most definitely need a minimum of two people to place the panels, but three would be better. Finishing up was easy and only required tightening all the remaining bolts and completing anchoring the assembly permanently.
