The texture is very smooth. I also love that it is organic so I know exactly what I am giving my family. The package is designed just right so that you can maximize every bit of the ketchup.

You can taste the sweet, raw tomato flavor in the beginning and a zing at the end. It's thick and not runny like most but not a paste either. I've never had a preference for this kind of thing but I do now! Go get this ketchup. So good!

The price is slightly higher than I would pay for a comparable organic store brand, but there is a difference in flavor when tasted head-to-head. The store brand had a stronger tomato paste flavor, while the Smash Kitchen ketchup has a stronger spice flavor profile - with clove fairly noticeable.
