I am very into hair care. I want nice results with minimal effort and minimal hair damage. This Shark Silkipro wet to dry straightener fits the bill. It is designed for many hair types with various temperatures and air speeds. The tool has various attachments for your styling needs. Shark gives you tutorials so you can understand the operation of the Silkipro. As soon as I received it I wanted to see if it would create a gentle tension on my fine hair. The tool doesn't disappoint. I would make sure your hair is damp not soaking wet when using this tool and use a heat protectant. The large comb is great for those to stretch curly coarse hair and it also helps to dry the roots. The machine turns off when you put it down. After using the tool several times. I now know exactly how I should use it for my hair. The Silkipro leaves my fine curly frizzy hair silky smooth. I owned the competitor's version and I can tell you this tool produces better results at half the price!! The other tool left my hair smooth but it had an unfinished look like straw. The Shark Silkipro is your all in one tool with great results and minimal damage. I recommend it.

Drying and straightening in one step while leaving my hair smooth, shiny and frizzy free. I love the interchangeable combs for different hair types, and it feels super gentle thanks to the smart heat control, also it is not noisy at all. Fast, easy, and salon level at home. I am obsessed.

The different wet, partial wet & dry settings was cool to try out. It straighted very fast, but has taken time to get used to the drying and different comb features. Overall great product.

Influencer Ashley Spivey posted about this product and I'm so glad she did. I literally replaced 4 different items I used to dry and straighten my hair! There's a bit of a learning curve, but after about 3x I have it down. It is powerful, and I typically use the lightest settings so as not to damage my hair. It's one amazing invention that seemed to think of everything! A tad pricey, but so far worth every penny. I hope it holds up for a good long time.

I already own other Shark hair syling products. They make a good product for a lot less money than their competitors. I have used the GHD and the Dyson hair straighteners. I would say this item is just as good, and costs about half of what those do. The one thing that all of these straighteners have in common is that they get very hot. I turn mine down, so I don't damage my hair. Basically this tool does everything it promises. I have very curly hair that likes to frizz. I can get it very straight with the SilkiPro.

I do love the idea of this product but I'm on a natural hair journey currently and when I was offered this program I assumed I was getting a new version of the flex style since the campaign mentioned rapid drying and with my curls I need all the amazing blow out and most of all curl defusing attachments and all that for my hair because right now I don't really have enough healthy hair to worry about straightening so I will say I was mislead a bit because I thought the straight part would be an attachment like it had been in the past with Shark so I was thinking of something entirely different in my head before I got it. Now having it and I've used it on my mother and it's amazing but this product for myself isn't something I can really use at the moment because you can only blow dry from the side no diffusing the only options are to blow dry with the air flow or use the wide tooth comb to blow dry and stretch my hair out that way but I want to keep my curls intact so for me this product will be best for me when my hair gets longer and healthier because I do see that that product is like the air straight from Dyson but superior and cheaper because you can air straighten with the blow drying feature going from wet to dry and straight all at once which is amazing but unlike the Dyson that can't really do anything else.. the Shark's dry mode does act like a standard straightener and I think it's amazing that for the money it gives better than the Dyson airstraight. I just wish that the Shark product I got would've been one with multiple attachments because then I could've seen how the diffuser and other attachments work because a tool that offers more options is always better but considering it's made to give us an air straight feel for cheaper than Dyson is always draining peoples money I do get what the goal was and for the product it's.. I don't want to say duping because the shark's silkipro is amazing it's far superior than a dupe because it's giving MORE than the Dyson Air Straight but clearly Shark was trying to give us their version of air straightening from wet to dry while also giving perfectionists that dry option to really get that silk press look so one day I will love this tool for myself it's a worthy product of the 250. The color is beautiful. The tool you can tell is luxurious and easy to use and understand. The smart technology that keeps you from using too much heat is genius and if straightened hair is your jam then this tool is absolutely a holy grail. Again for me right now I just want some juicy curls and I'm still looking for a blow drying tool that diffuses and has the option to brush or blow out my hair if I want. Maybe I'll get lucky and have an opportunity fall into my lap. I'd love it and be so grateful because I had been so excited to get this when I assumed it was some revamped new flex style version of shark's products so if the universe is listening.. ya girl is thankful for the campaign but I'd love an item that really lets me diffuse my curls and have some blowout options with round brushes and such. Either way this Shark product is still a 10/10. My mom is white so of course this tool worked for her but I did test it on a little part of my hair and it does in fact work for my mixed biracial 3c type hair. With tools that I can't control the temperature I get a bit worried but this had no issues laying my hair flat in one pass. I didn't even need to use the highest heat setting. So this is inclusive and will work for anyone who wants that silk press shiny straight mane.

I absolutely love this hair tool!! I've had the shark flexi for about 3 years now, and it's great, but my biggest complaint was always that with my naturally wavy/frizzy hair, i would always have to straighten it after blow drying! This tool eliminates the need for both styling tools and cuts my styling time down by about an hour, without my hair feeling dry or weighed down. Highly recommend!

My new go to blow dryer and straightener! Super fast and easy to use! i wish there was a way to purchase extra comb attachments in case one gets lost or damaged, the product would be useless without it. Overall love the heat and drying settings, my hair had never looked better styling at home. For reference I have 4a/4b hair

Brand new out of the box and the device will not stay on longer than 15 seconds at a time. The filter is definitely clean and not being blocked. I did so much homework on this and feel silly for splurging on this product. I wanted so badly to love it and now I have to decide what to do next.

I bought this r my wife who had been excited to get one. Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. The hair needs to be 70% dry so it doesn't reduce the need to use a blow dryer as much as expected. The flat iron worked well but is quite noisy. Ultimately it didn't live up to the hype and wasn't better than the flat iron she already had so it was returned. I am a huge fan of the Shark/Ninja products and this product seems to be one of the rare misses.
