It's a bit tedious to put together, I would definitely suggest two people. Especially when hanging it on the wall, I think two people is way easier! Remote works great. Power works great. We love this!

It is remote operated so I just sit on the couch and turn it on while relaxing. So cool and I love that you can really customize it how you'd like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Westinghouse DIY Hex Garage Light (color-changing version) is way better than I thought it would be. First of all, it's MUCH bigger than I thought - big enough to illuminate my entire garage with the color of my choosing. Assembling it was also easier than I thought it would be. All in all, it only took us a couple of hours to perfect the set up. The lights seem durable and I assume would be able to handle a drop on the ground pretty well. Westinghouse also clearly made it a point to manufacture these lights with top quality materials, resulting in a solid, functional, and fun modular lighting set up. This has brought my garage to entirely new heights - my friends are jealous! It has turned the garage into a space that can now be enjoyed instead of simply just being a utilitarian space. I installed in my gaming room and love how bright and moder it makes the space look.The nexagon design adds a really cool touch,and the light is bright enought to illuminate the whole room.Easy to install and defininetely a great upgrade! I also love that you can change the light color to mach the mood or occasion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Westinghouse DIY hex garage lights are a really fun way to upgrade your garage. A man cave or add an accent to any room in your house. I've put together similar hexagonal garage lights and all the pieces are very similar except this one's colored which excites me. They do take some time to put together but when it's all done it's totally worth it. The finished product ends up being about 5 ft by 6 ft. I'm personally having a hard time trying to figure out whether to put this in my garage on the ceiling in my bedroom or in my man cave. This is definitely something I recommend people check out if they want to add something fun to upgrade their space.

This is such a fun garage light but it took a lot of time and effort to put it all together! I love that you can use the remote to change the effects of the lighting. It is a great product from Westinghouse and boxed nicely with all pieces in baggies or boxes to keep them all seperated appropriately before installing it. I think this will be a very reliable light source and it adds a fun element to my garage lighting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These hex lights so much better than I could've ever imagined, it has totally made my gym feel so much cooler 😄. Instant visual upgrade. The install took about a hour because I am a perfectionist and we installed it in sections to make it easier. The lights are plastic and so therefore lightweight which was much appreciated, they come with a plastic peel off cover to protect them from scratches until installed. It plugs into the wall. The remotes has many functions, you can cycle through 20+ light functions as seen in the video, with a faster or slower option for the selected light pattern, so fun! It also has solid color light options as well with a up and down function that to make the solid color darker or lighter. It has the ability to beat to the music, but that function did not work for me, that's the only reason this is a 4 star, other than that these lights are so fun and cool! I would definitely recommend if you're interested in the Hex garage lights.
