I bought this about a month ago to replace a home speaker and I would occasionally use the garage. I thought I might have needed the 530 but decided on this. For a small speaker I was TOTALLY impressed. It's just basically for background music in the house while im doing things or in the garage for working on a project. For a small package it REALLY delivers some awesome bass. Blows away my old system. . Highly recommended. Could easily handle a small apt house party for sure !

I love that it has a removable 12-hour lithium-ion battery that charges into the wall and can be easily moved with a handle, weighing only 25 pounds, and I really liked the $299 price, too.

Sounds great! Perfect for the backyard party. Got everyone dancing!
