Bought this in May and used it occasionally, always handwashing afterwards. Now that the school year is in I figured I would use the dishwasher as the lunch kit says “Dishwasher safe” on the back. Well the front sticker has lifted and torn, it looks terrible and now I have a sad little girl.

We have had multiple bentgo boxes for our kids over the years and use them every day for lunches. The one time we had an issue (the latch wouldn't stick) the customer service was awesome and got it replaced immediately. Easy to clean, durable (our kids drop them all the time), and perfect size.

We've had this lunchbox for awhile now and my kid loves it. It fits a good amount of food (more than he usually finishes), and I really like how it keeps the food separated. The latches in my opinion could be improved as they tend to pop open more easily that I would like, however they are easy enough for my 5 year old to open and close, and as he is the one using the lunchbox then we'll deal. :) Other plus's is that Bentgo makes a bunch of lunch box "cases" with fun designs for the kids, and ice packs that fit perfectly in for a complete set thats easy for my kiddo to take off to school. Overall very happy with this product.

The top color is peeling off leaving a trail of the material in our dishwasher, lunch box case and possibly in my child's food as it gets everywhere and hard to wipe away. Would love an updated version of just stainless so nothing peels off. Leave the color latches for personalization. Thanks

We just got two of these to size up after our kids outgrew our beloved, a smaller that goes. So far we love these for our seven and nine-year-old. They are the perfect size and very durable. We're getting a bit of paint scraped away on one of that but otherwise, we're super happy.

Purchased this about a year ago, and the welding on one of the hinges came apart. We have only ever hand washed this and it doesn't take a lot of abuse so I was surprised that it broke. However, I sent photos to customer service via email and had a replacement coming within an hour under their warranty. Even though expected more of the product itself for the price, it was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Gave it four stars because sometimes the latches are a little finicky to get them to stay closed and they have a tendency to pop back open when you try to clip them closed. This is just slightly annoying but hasn't affected the lunchbox itself staying closed and it has never leaked in my daughter's lunch bag. Juicy foods like watermelon do leak from one compartment in to the other compartment however. The rest of it is perfect and still looks like the day we bought it, even though it is used daily. It is a good size and my daughter loves being able to see all her food and it is easy for a toddler to eat from like a plate. I have recommended this to other parents in my daughter's class and would continue to do so even though it did break.

Color peels off quickly. Get plain steel instead..

I love bentgo products, have been buying them for years! This school year I got this box and had an issue with paint chipping off, I emailed customer service and within minutes it was resolved! Love this company and their products!

Earlier this year I bought the blue stainless steel lunch box and the for whatever reason the hinge snapped off. Contacted customer service and within a few weeks received a replacement.

We bought this lunch box over two years ago. Love that it's stainless steel and dishwasher safe! Also, when we had an issue, the customer service responded quickly and kindly with a solution the same day :)
